BUILDING AND ESTABLISHING THE LIFE YOU WANT/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
“Is there anyone here who, planning to build a new house, doesn’t first sit down and figure the cost so you’ll know if you can complete it?
If you only get the foundation laid and then run out of money, you’re going to look pretty foolish. Everyone passing by will poke fun at you: ‘He started something he couldn’t finish." -Luke 14:25-30
For I tell you, building my life after my divorce 4 years ago was a process and a faith journey. However, it was a journey and a choice in the right direction that I knew that I had to take. Had I not taken the steps to better myself, my life would be yet in shambles, imploding from within.
Starting over was not a risk. Starting over was a smart decision that I knew I had to take. I went from contemplation to consideration to prayer and fasting to resolve to activation to results. Yes, starting over meant starting from much of nothing, but I did not allow what I did not have to stop me from forging ahead to achieve my dreams and goals.
God has the creative power to make something out of nothing. God built my life these past 4.5 years. And if He did it then, He will do it NOW and again.
From my own experiences, never allow people to tell you that staying in a bad situation (whatever it may be) is the best option for you. For I tell you, oppression of any kind is not a wise decision to remain in. It will cost you despair, stress, health issues and more resources.
God will supply money, opportunities, relief, release, peace, joy, hope, love, great relationships and direction for your life when you obey God. The Bible says, "Peter, in his own routine, logic & strength toiled all night to make money (in the fishing business), but to no avail. It wasn't until a divine encounter with Jesus that EVERYTHING in Peter's life changed. After encountering Jesus, Peter had caught so many fish that he became a millionaire.π€ Peter working was optional. Peter was relieved of his toil to follow Jesus in ministry and purpose while his family was well taken care of while he was on the road. -Luke 5:1-11
Jesus, just by speaking a life giving word and through a divine encounter, fully funded Peter's business and ended Peter's toil. Jesus is still the same God. "At your WORD, Jesus, let it be done."ππ’... (Tears of peace a wholeheart surrender.) Good tears. If you REALLY know me... You know Shea loves God. He is the One constant I cannot ever leave.ππ.
When I was in the process of getting my divorce, people told me that I was making a big mistake. They told me to consider the many years of being married.ππ. Lord have mercy. If they only knew.ππ€¦♀️.
During the process, God told me to, "Just be quiet and to let Me get you through this to the other side." So, for 3 months I said nothing more about my divorce in process. I came to realize, as time went on, that God helped me to make a VERY WISE decision. If you listen to the pressure of people, you will LOOK FOOLISH, be most misreable, live in regret and miss your opportunity to freely become your best and TRUE self.
Choose to walk away from anything and anyone that oppresses and surpresses your potential and purpose, who is taking time, peace and opportunities away from you and who is causing you more pain and suffering than peace. Don't tread on me is right. If you are in my life to pull me under, either you have to go or I have to walk away.
You owe no one but God, yourself and maybe a few trusted people in your life an explanation for bettering yourself and for protecting your safety and well-being. Listen to God, pray about it first, and then actively launch out into what is next for your life.
Again, at the right time and moment, God will provide everything you need to be blessed and to thrive in your next elevation. Evaluate your own life. Have some real conversations with yourself, and prep to take action to get better and to do better. God will not release what He has for us when we are out of His will. It is only when we are in the will of God that blessings, resources and new opportunities to prosper will happen.
Never beg to be blessed. The Bible says, ask, seek and knock. God never wants us desperate for a blessing. He wants us in His will and walking in faith and obedience. Make room for the new, and enjoy a cup of coffee along the way.π΅π€
