THE ANATOMY OF HEALTHY LIVING/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
Good health begins with making the right decisions followed by consistent right actions. If you want to be healthy, make a decision, then take action. Pray for strategies and gather your resources and do your research on what your goals for good health will look like, sound like and become.
Eating healthy is extremely important but so is exercise and a life of prayer and devotion to God. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah held to their beliefs and maintained a healthy lifestyle while living in a pagan society (Daniel 1:4-21).
We do not have to shift to the culture. God can shift the culture to adjust to our needs and beliefs as born again Christian's.
Daniel, Hananiah, Azariah and Mishael were not the exception. They just spoke up and requested to stick to what kept them healthy. God blessed their courage to speak up and to stand up for their beliefs not just in a healthy body but soul and spirit.
What are you FEEDING your spirit and soul? Are you paying attention to what goes in and what comes out? What you feed yourself will fester. The Bible says in Matthew 15 that it is not what goes in that defiles an individual but what comes out of them.
We do, say and think certain things, because that's what's inside festering. When you feed your spirit, soul and body good things, good things will be the result. However, if you feed your spirit, soul and body corruption, corruption will be the result.
For the outcome of sin in spiritual death, but the gift of God (salvation) is eternal life (Romans 6:23).
What may be a practice of pleasure and purpose of health for others can lead to compromise of the soul for you. Stick to the health regimen in spirit, soul and body that God gives you. In doing so, you will excel in purpose and productivity for many years and even a lifetime in all areas of your life. Maintain a renewed mind. Sow good thoughts and reap prosperity and good success.
If you never change your habits, you will never see the results that you desire. Desire and even planning is not enough. You must plan to follow through.
Many plan but many fail to finish what they set out to do. They fail not because of a lack of desire but a lack of determination to start and to finish. Finishing a thing will always be more rewarding than taking the initiative to begin.
It isn't the one who begins the race that gets the reward, but the one who perseveres and finishes the race. So what determines your finish? Your diet, regimen and condition of will determines your finish.
Pace the pulse of your journey. Go at your own speed. Listen to your mentors and trainers. Furthermore, when it comes to your physical health, especially as you get into you mid 20's and beyond, You HAVE to listen to your body, because if you do not, you WILL begin to have health issues early on in life.
Our lives are forever evolving, so we have to be coherent to the needs of our bodies, souls and spirits. Evolve with grace. Stay flexible and mindful of your health and well-being inside and out.
I am not encouraging you to abstain from meat but every now and then give your body a rest from the harsher, tougher meats that take the body a little longer to digest. Detox. Detox. Detox. Go lighter for a few days and drink water.
I am dedicated to at least one cup of coffee a dayπ€, but caffeine drinkers must refresh their bodies with water to restore balance to the body. Water is great for detoxing, energy, metabolism and rejuvenating and hydrating the body and skins radiance.
Thank God for great doctors but invest in probiotics (vitamins and natural herbs) for your health and wellness. There are many natural remedies that relieve health deficiencies and restore the proper balance. When we take care of our 3 part being regularly we will experience less trauma.
Practice health and wellness that blesses not only you but those connected to you in purpose and in life.
