My soul will be still. In God I rest. I will rest my soul in the presence of God, and be refreshed.

I will not grow tired. I refuse to be bothered. I will not be weighted down with the cares, deadlines, budgets or pressures of this life.

I am not stressed out. I will take time to just breathe. I will take time to be still.

I will enjoy moments and the momentum of rest. I will come to the presence of God and find rest. I am a man of God. God is healing me. I am set free from the stress, tears and fears plaguing my life that are weighing me down.

Like Abraham, Jacob and Joshua, I will run to God. I am on the Lord's side. As for me and my household we will serve the Lord.

I find strength, hope, faith, direction, salvation and instructions in the presence of God. I will turn to God for guidance. He is my Refuge and Defender. Yes, He is my Fortress.

God is my present help in the time of adversity. When I need a good friend to talk to and run ideas by, He is my confidant. Jesus is a good friend.

I will come to Him when I feel weary, worried or need help with life. God has the answers. Yes, He has the joy I need, the peace I need and the next set of instructions I need. 

I will run to God. I will come to Him just as I am, but I will not stay as I am. This I decree and affirm, in Jesus name. Amen.

The truth is no one wants to be blamed for problems. It's easy to blame others for reoccurring issues that are getting worse and not better. It feels better to dump problems on others and feel like we are getting off scott free.  Deflection or reflection? But, I am learning in my 40's that problems don't go away just because we blame others for unresolved problems. Problems only get resolved when we stop imploding, figure out workable solutions, manage our frustrations, assess our motivations, be logically reasonable when tackling circumstances, situations and tasks and actually do the work and fix problems properly. We can't keep blaming people who are producing results. It's unhealthy, unprofessional and unfair to do so. When the same problems continue to reoccur on different days, we must take a step back and assess the root of the problems. Resistance to solving problems only worsens the problems.
