Whether you are hiking, climbing or mountaineering Cotopaxi is an lively stratovolcano in the Andes Mountains, located in Latacunga city of Cotopaxi Province in Ecuador. It is the second highest summit in Ecuador, reaching a height of 5,897 m. Its elevation reaches to 19,347.

In November 28, 1878 Wilhelm Reiss and Angel Escobar were the first to climb the Cotopaxi mountain.
