SNIPPETS FROM MARCH MOTIVATION/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
COMING SOON IN MARCH...
I personally feel and believe, The Book of Proverbs is one of those books that you NEED to understand what is being said, but because Solomon is reflecting on so much all at once in one chapter... you can be left feeling like, "Now what did he just say?"π€ We don't want that.
So, in March our endeavor is to give you a practical guide to reading the Book of Proverbs without deviating away from what was being said or feeling lost within the Scriptures.
I believe in a practical, stratight and to the point approach to Scriptures.
So for example the original text in the KJV says:
Proverbs 10:1-4
1The Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
3 The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but casteth away the substance of the wicked.
4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Um. Excuse me. Again. I have questions.π€£
So, in March Motivation, from my own personal study time with God, I want to share with you what God gave me without deviating from the truth of God's Word.
Proverb 10:1-4 will read like this...
1 The advice and life lessons of Solomon. Be wise and not foolish or self confident.
2 Practice righteousness (moral and godly living in all areas of your life and relations).
3 God will provide.
4 Avoid being idle or lazy. Work diligently. In doing so, you will become rich and prosperous.
Now wasn't that a lot easier to grasp?π I know its was. Make sure that everyone can understand the Bible without taking away from it's meaning or original intent.
