THE UNCONVENTIONAL ASSIGNMENT/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

One day God was thinking.... "I have an idea."

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you and the plans that I have for you. They are thoughts and an assignment that are good. They are for peace and not evil; thoughts and an assignment that will exceed your greatest expectations." -Jeremiah 29:11

Can God really do that? Can God really exceed what I think is best for my life or what others think is best for me? Can God really do more than I could ever ask or think?

The answer is yes. Yes, God can do more for you than you could ever imagine or plan to do for yourself. God takes into consideration the destination, the big picture and the main idea. God considers where you have been, where you are presently and where you will be in the future.

If God asked you to forsake all to follow Him, would you? I mean all the comforts of family, friends, financial security and what is familiar to you... Would you? Or would you excuse yourself from the invitation and assignment?

I once read where God asked someone to do an assignment and then they implied that God changed His mind.πŸ™„πŸ’ I'm not so sure about that.πŸ€” I never read in the Bible where God asked someone to do something or say something and then changed His mind.

When God instructs us to do something, He expects us to trust Him enough to lead us from one point to the next.

God does not promise us something and not come through for us. The resistance would have us to believe and feel that way, but God is true to His Word. "Paul. You're going to Rome."

Rome may be different for everyone. However, the point is, your assignment is not where you are or have been but where you are going. You will get there.

Every assignment will have some manner of resistance. Don't let the resistance weary you, worry you or detour you from following God's instructions for your new assignment. All resistance will be met by the breakthrough power and sovereignty of Jesus.

The way through something may not always be easy, but there is always a way out when God is involved. That's the key. God has to stay involved in your life at all times.

The assignment may be unconventional, but God is unconventional. God will inconvenience your feelings and comforts. He has no problem rocking the boat to get you onboard with him.

The unconventional ideas of God always lead to greater possibilities, opportunities and creativity. The unconventional assignment of God will always unlock dimensions of kingdom wealth, revelation and destiny. The unconventional and inconveniences of God will lead you to victory.
