Blessed; Dwelling Under the Umbrella of God's Divine Blessing/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
For those who know me and follow us faithfully here at B'sHub, you know that I am a believer in the inverted triangle method. It doesn't take away from any ancient beliefs of other philosophical organizations. The inverted triangle method is something that I personally created, adopted and adapted my life to for various reasons.
I firmly believe that the wealth and success of a people, organization or nation should be built up and extend out on the basis of the power, authority, prosperity and good success of the leadership. The Bible says that the oil flowed from Aaron's beard downward. This means the people are and should be just as successful as their leaders on their level of influence, prosperity and success (Exodus 18).
The inverted triangle method is seen in Solomon's rule as king. We know that Solomon was and is the wisest and wealthiest man, ruler, leader and king who ever lived. Although, he became bitter and regretful at the end of his rule due to reckless behavior, he during his rule practiced and exemplified the spirit of excellence, wisdom and good success while in rule.
The Bible says when head leaders from other nations came to visit and personally hear and receive and see the wisdom and wealth of Solomon, they were astonished to discover that his employees and household were well dressed, professionally sound and well taken care of while dwelling and working in the royal courts of King Solomon. I ADMIRE the mentality that Solomon had concerning people. I, too, believe that the people working under you should be a reflection of your success and moral ethics.
ππ€£...Well. They should.π€£π
When people behold the environment and your team, they should see your beliefs and your brand in constant motion without you always having to be present in the room to enforce it. THAT'S great leadership and a healthy unit across the board. When your people reflect your beliefs and your brand that means that they, too, believe in the Vision, and umbrella of prosperity and good success that they are under.
When your team is actively involved in the work and the mission, you have done your job well. Your teams interactions, while on duty, should always reflect the brand and the mission. When they are organically involved in the work it implies that the beliefs and the brand are etched into their hearts and their thoughts. It's just their nature to be an extension of your right beliefs and the brand, because they want to be apart of something they believe in by choice, through proper training and conditioning.
Furthermore, the inverted triangle method of prosperity and good success is the genetics of their belief system. It is their anthem. It is their sounding board, when they step into the room and when they are out of the room going about their daily lives.
After being around King Solomon for some time those under his leadership knew what to expect and what was expected of them by the king and the leadership under the king. This, also, means that the leadership was in sync with King Solomon and they, too, were a reflection of his beliefs and the mission.
Now, as a leader, I don't believe in "yes man."π I do believe that people should have their own mind and independence even while in leadership. Those under you, as leaders and co-workers should be able to speak up respectfully when they don't agree with something or when they see impending danger that you may not see from your angle without you shutting down or flipping out and getting upset all the time.
That is, also, healthy inverted leadership. Listen, and don't get upset or shut down. Talk without yelling or debating all the time. Resolve without lashing out or giving unjust punishment for speaking out or standing up.
Inverted leadership is healthy leadership. Inverted leadership communicates the core leadership and the team in general are all healthy and united in the mission. Inverted leadership communicates that the people are treated fairly as people and equals with mutual respect and not inferior or as slaves to the brand, the mission or the Vision.
When you as a leader and, also, the leadership are concerned about the well being of your team, they won't mind working FOR you, because they know you are FOR them and care about them mutually in the respect of the business and being a team player on the team.
As a leader, there's just a right way to treat your team. They are not slaves or inferior. Although they are not on the same tier of success or power as you are, they are just as important as you are, because they, too, have lives, families and dreams.
I believe when we as leaders see other team players or leaders mistreating others on our teams, we need to have rules and regulations in place that will resolve the issues quickly without rebuttal. Mistreating teammates and others leaders on the team is never okay nor should it be tolerated by anyone, because mistreatment impacts the environment, the team, the brand, the flow of leadership and the overall profit.
When the morale is down the profit decreases. Your morale does impact your profit. Moreover, your leadership and team impact the morale.
We all have personal lives, and sometimes it is difficult to shake off what is personally impacting us. However, there is a time and a place for everything. When in the workplace or on duty, whatever that looks like for you, BE PROFESSIONAL and practice "the power of nice."
No one wants to be nor should they be talked down to. Leadership has an obligation to build UP their teams not belittle them. Be a good human.
Moreover, as leaders in leadership, we need to have TRUSTED people and leaders in place that can help people through tough moments and TRULY keep it confidential. When you see someone or another leaders struggling, pull them to the side and professionally see how you can be of help. Open door policies should never imply gossip, slander, revenge or distrust.
When leaders or teammates fail to follow the rules and regulations of confidentiality, deal with it. Don't let that slide. Again that impacts your team, your consumers and your overall profit.
As a leader, when you are a person of confidentiality and professionalism, your team will work for you and be honest with you, because they know you care and that you are fair. This, too, is a branch of what I call the inverted triangle method that impacts our leadership, businesses, homes, relationships in general and social circles. Care on purpose, and make it your mandate to get to the root of problems and to resolve them respectfully and professionally for the sake of everyone.
This method of living is just good overall ethics in Christ, in life and in business that I myself have learned over time and practice regularly, while being in leadership well over 20+ years. I, personally, live by it and stand by the inverted method of life and business. And when you as a leader stand by your brand and your beliefs, so will the people under you equally, if not more.
