Destined to Follow Jesus/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

There is no other life outside of Jesus for me. I am all in. SOLD.

I am so serious. Sin only brings misery. I tried that life. It is a hard life, very conflicting, empty and most miserable.πŸ‘€

Nothing is ever enough. Sin and a life outside of Jesus is always like grasping for the wind, but never able to embrace it.

Nah... Give me Jesus. He is spiritual but yet visible and tangible. I can feel Him, hear Him and see Him through creation, His Word and through life.

"Rashea. Follow Me, and I will make you."

"Yes, Lord." Therefore, I follow Jesus still. Still walking, still trusting, still listening and still captivated by His enduring, eternal presence.

But hey. I am marked. This I know.πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

I have learned that some people God calls to follow Him and others He chooses and marks to follow Him. That means you wear this invisible yet visible seal on your life. You can't get away with anything like others do. You cannot live just anyway like others do. "Much is given; much is required."

You are called to a higher standard and way of life. The calling on your life is greater, and you stand out among the crowd. No matter how much you try to fit in, you don't, and that's not a bad thing either.

It just means you are called to lead the crowd not follow the crowd. You follow Jesus not the crowd. Born to change the world for Christ. Yelp!

Those that are marked by Jesus will always bump heads with Jesus and the world when they attempt to disobey God. We see this in Jonah's life. Marked.

He tried to go the opposite way of God's instructions and got in "a whale" of trouble.πŸ˜‚πŸ€£. It is so important that we listen to God and not allow our personal feelings and thoughts on matters get in the way of God's will and instructions to us.

Jonah's grudge and disobedience was jeopardizing lives, and God was not okay with that. Actually God became very angry with Jonah and rocked the boat until God got his attention. We are no match for God.

Sometimes, Satan causes things and other times, when we are in blatant disobedience to God, God will cause us to experience trials when we are jeopardizing lives and His will.πŸ‘€ No... we cannot do whatever we want as Christian's and think God is going to be okay with that, because He is not. We must obey God, or we will find ourselves in over our heads in "a whale" of trouble.

Stay the course, follow the instructions and follow Jesus. We have to be all in with God. We must follow Him wholeheartedly. Destined to follow Jesus.πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ’―
