Justification and Faith Through Jesus/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Do we fully understand what justication through Jesus is and what it means?

Justification is a state of full restoration in all areas of our lives through faith in Jesus. Justication is the conformity to God through Jesus. Through justification we are made right with God through faith in Jesus (Romans 3:24, 5:1).

Thank God for grace, but without justification there would not be any grace from God or any need for faith in God. The atonement of Jesus through our personal commitment to faith in Jesus gives us access to the grace of God. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8).

So what is the grace of God?

The grace of God is God's:

As Christian's, who practice our faith in Jesus, we have continual access to the grace of God. We have access to God's divine favor, mercy, goodness and kindness. It is His love for us, shown toward us on His own accord. It is His gift to us. The grace of God is the gift that keeps on giving, because of God's love for us and toward us (Hebrews 4:16).

So is salvation God's grace?

Salvation is the participle (the end result or the outcome) of God's grace shown to us through the atonement of Jesus. Salvation is the present state of existence after the grace of God and the atonement of Jesus is personally received through faith in Jesus. Salvation is going from a state unregeneration and the practice of sin to a new state of spiritual rebirth and continual regeneration.

Salvation is the outcome of Jesus' atonement for our sins and the state of sin we were under. Salvation is justification for our sins through Jesus. Salvation is God's personal seal of the Holy Spirit which is our guarantee of the eternal life to come (Ephesians 1:13-14).

Salvation is FULL restoration in all areas of our lives through the atonement of Jesus and the grace of God. Salvation brings us near to God. Sin alienates us from the presence of God, but salvation through Jesus empowers us to steadily and confidently walk in close fellowship with God continually (James 4:7-8).

Salvation empowers us to live lives well pleasing to God, something we could not accurately do in an unregenerated state of life and existence. Salvation through Jesus makes living for God relatively doable and applicable. Salvation through Jesus makes living for God doable and applicable, because through righteousness, God's grace will make up for any areas we may fall short in from time to time. ALL have sinned and have fallen short of the glory (the protocol, the code of ethics, the moral doctrine and laws, the requirements, the expectations) of a holy God.

We NEED grace not just the law. For it is by grace we are saved and not in being a good person or keeping the moral law alone. The Bible is clear: Aside from grace, one who practices ONLY the law and forgets or fails to keep any extent of the law is guilty of the whole law and its penalties for failing to keep it (James 2:10).πŸ‘€ Let that sink in a minute.πŸ™ƒπŸ‘€

What is biblical faith according to the grace of God?

Biblical faith in Jesus according to the grace of God is the personal devotion of leaning on, trusting in and confidently relying on Jesus in ALL things. Our faith in Jesus is the access point to receiving God's grace and eternal life through Jesus. The atonement of Jesus is the principal of God's grace and eternal salvation. Without receiving Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior and practicing righteousness there will be no access into eternal life.

Why is practicing righteousness so important as a Christian?

Practicing righteousness enables and empowers us to remain strong in our Christian faith and personal walk with God. Righteousness is also the evidence of a transformed and regenerated life through Jesus. Practicing righteousness, also, serves as an example to others in how we are to live as Christian's who personally have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Justified by God through Jesus. Are we just communicating justified by God the Father? No, we are not. Being brought into right standing with God is communicating that we are brought into right standing and close relationship with the entire Godhead. The Godhead is comprised of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; John 14:16-26, 16:13-16).

Throughout the Bible, when we see the Word God, the Godhead is being communicated. Any time Jesus wanted to point out the distinction of the Godhead, He would say, "My Father or the Holy Spirit or the Son (referring to Himself)." So, we have access to God (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit) through salvation and God's grace through Jesus.

Overcoming the Severity of False Condemnation

There is now no condemnation (ongoing judgment, penalty, shame or guilt) to those who are in Jesus Christ. -Romans 8:1

You are now no longer condemned. Justification through faith in Jesus wipes our slate clean. Jesus paid the debt and took our penalty for sin and the state of sin we were once under. Justification is the pardon of God not the condemnation of God for sins forgiven.

When we confess our sins, Jesus freely and actively pardons our shortcomings and washes us clean through the Word of God and its right practices (John 15:3, 1John 1:9). Walking around in condemnation as a believer is not the state of life God wants us walking in. Condemnation is the punishment of sins unconfessed and unpardoned through a lack of right living, a lack of acknowledgment of one's sins, a lack of repentance of sins and not receiving the atonement of Jesus for our sins. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

As a Christian who walks in right relationship with Jesus, you have every right through Jesus and God's grace to live freely from sin and the condemnation sin brings. False condemnation of sins pardoned by God is not from God. False condemnation of sin pardoned by God is from the devil. Jesus clearly says in His first coming as Christ on earth, "I did not come to condemn the world, but to SAVE the world," (John 3:17-18). It is not our place to continue to condemn those God has forgiven.

God's forgiveness stands no matter who does or does not agree with the acts and grace of God's pardon. God does not show partiality. Whoever confesses their sins is pardoned. Period. God does that, because He knows the callousness of mankind's heart and ways is to hold things over people that can be damaging, depleting and devastating to their wellbeing, lives, families and future.

Justification through faith in Jesus is for ALL people of all races, nationalities and walks of life. The grace and peace of God is for ALL people of all races, nationalities and walks of life. JESUS is for ALL people of all races, nationalities and walks of life.

Grace is grace. Period.
