Growing In Leadership/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Leadership does require team work when essential. However, leadership, also, has to become personal. Leadership will require a personal effort from every individual.

What is essential for you and required of you may be different than what is essential for and required of someone else. Never judge what it takes to prosper, to be successful or your efforts based on someone else's journey or their leadership. Focus on you, and do your best.

I do recommend that you pray and seek God for direction regularly. Seek out and study literature and the lives of other's that can help you progress in your journey and leadership. Model what sticks and what helps you in your life and on your journey.

What may speak to you, may not speak to someone else, and that's okay. Things we think about, consider and apply to our leadership approach is a result of our personality type and where we are in our journey. Do what is helpful and right for you.

Climb the ladder of success, but grow in grace horizontally as a person and as a leader. Everyone is constantly learning new knowledge, concepts, and methods everyday. So, graciously give yourself and others room to grow. Furthermore, adapt to any changes made to help grow the leadership & the team in innovation, ethics, resources and revenue.

I cannot say enough on flexibility. If you can help out, help out. If you know the job, and can do the work, then pitch in and help complete the task. It's not about being a know it all. It's about growing the team and getting the work done when there is a void to fill.

Never be afraid to learn new knowledge and new methods. When you don't get it, speak up. When it's too much of a task for you, speak up. It's better to speak up, then to not say anything and to improperly do something that can be adjusted when you take the time to speak up.

Leadership is hands on, but leadership, also, requires knowledge. It's okay to personally further your knowledge in life and leadership in all areas of your life in your personal time. Sometimes a technique or the knowledge we utilize in our faith, in parenting or in our physical wellness can be utilized and effective in a task we are completing in our vision, mission or careers.

Always be single minded, but never be narrow minded or one dimensional.πŸ™ƒπŸ€¦‍♀️ In other words, stay on course, but never think every tasks is done or has to be done one way, because it's not. Leadership's and individuals who prosper are the result of staying on course but those who always practice flexibility in every circumstance to avoid things becoming rigid, unobtainable and a negative situation.

Everyone grows on different levels and at a different pace, and that's okay. Learn on your level and at your pace. As long as you are learning and growing, that's all that matters.
