Living My Life To Honor Jesus... The Willing Heart/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
Your heart is the life source by which all of your life flows. So when the Bible says, "Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart," we are being commanded to love God with all our life source and the force within us. The force within you is your will, personality, energy, effort and your very breath.
Dr. Bill Winston teaches us to live from the inside out. Well. I want to add to this thought. Love Jesus "from the inside out". Love Jesus through the Word.
Dr. Veronica Winston teaches us to speak the Word of God not our feelings but the Word. I would like to add to this thought. Love is a Word and it is THE Word. God IS Love.
Therefore, regularly, take time in the presence of God to learn and to discover what the Word qualifies as the right kind of love, as you move forward and live forward in your relationship with Jesus. Be fruitful in life through God's love from the inside out.
You must believe in Jesus before you can live for Him. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is more than just a confession.
Jesus is a right belief. When you believe in something, you act on it. Therefore, when you believe in Jesus, you will act on Him and take your relationship with Jesus seriously. Amen.
Your relationship with Jesus requires the right actions. Jesus delights in right actions and initiatives to honor Him. As they say, "Actions speak louder than words."
This is a true saying. For even the Bible admonishes us to be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving ourselves. It is deceptive to think that we can just hear what's right and not act on it.
Let's simplify the lesson. You cannot just read the instructions to the desk and never take the time to put the right pieces in the right places to construct the desk. The desk doesn't have the capacity to put itself together.
The right pieces and the right instructions were provided for you. Now you have to take the time and put forth the effort and the energy to construct what you see on the paper provided. Saying what you see is not enough. Do what you see to get what you see.ππ€£
Your heart is not just a physical organ within the body. Your heart is your personality. It is a condition of right or wrong based upon your proclivity (origin of inclination). When your heart is conditioned to lean into the direction of God, honoring Jesus will come much easier. It won't feel like a burden but rather a blessing.
Jesus must be the very heart beat of all you pursue to do, say and think. Having Jesus at the forefront of our conscious and actions brings responsibility and accountability. When we are mindful of Jesus, accountability and responsibility kicks in, and we make the decision to honor Jesus in all areas of our lives.
When you put forth the daily effort to honor Jesus moment by moment with all your heart... He will put forth an eternal effort to honor you for your efforts to honor Him with all His heart... an effort that is not based upon zealous performance but rather passionate persistence.
