Every leader must pivot at some point. The truth is... you will pivot at some point in your life and in leadership. It's a natural happenstance that happens to every leader.


This will happen to you more than once in your life and years as a leader. Some call it an epiphany. Others refer to it as a 180°. Others call it a paradigm shift. However, you see this natural phenomenon... it will happen again and again over the course of time.

God utilizes pivots to guide you higher, deeper and into the right direction. The Bible refers to it as "a new thing". When God pivots you into a new direction, with fresh guidance, methods and perspective, He says, "Don't even consider what was done in the past. Forget about it. Put it behind you, because old methods won't work with what I constructed and configured in today's current."

Mission. Movement. Momentum.
Pivot.

Pivot is to shift or to turn in a new direction. Pivot is to change directions. Pivot is to do something different than before.

What is God asking you to pivot? What is God nudging you to change? 2023 like every new milestone will require a pivoting to fulfill a greater level of your purpose and to reach your destiny.

God knows the plans that He has for you, but do you know? Are you in yesterday's hopes, because you have no fresh perspective for your future? When you carry yesterday into the future... You live in yesterday devoid of what your life should be now.

Mission. Movement. Momentum.
Pivot.

I always tell people to stay current. Live for today. Live in today.

The past is gone. No matter how much you bring it up or press rewind... that moment cannot be relived. We all must pivot from the past into the future at some point. When you do not... it's like being mentally and emotionally stuck in the 80's in 2022.👀💭

Have you ever seen someone stuck in a time zone in present day? I have throughout my life. We all have. It's not always about the trends from that time. Some people are actually here but there.👀🙃 Let that sink in.

They failed to pivot mentally and emotionally. So, physically in all they do... they are still in that moment, that time or that era. It's time to pivot.

Mission. Movement. Momentum.
Pivot.

If you do not pivot as a leader... you will hinder your progression and the progression of others. It will be likened to you utilizing the 80's version of the computer in today's world. 

When we see it from this perspective... No one in their right mind would ever think the the 80's version of technology is better than today's technology. Yet, some refer their lives back to that era of time.👀💭 Why? They failed to pivot.
