Justification Through Faith In Jesus
We have peace and have the grace of God bestowed upon us through Jesus. -Romans 3:24, 5:2
God's grace is God's unmerited and divine favor, mercy, goodness and kindness toward us who are justified and sanctified through Jesus. -Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:7
Justification through faith in Jesus is to proclaim one innocent of all wrongs, guilt and penalties caused by sins mastery. -John 3:16-17, Romans 3:23-31, 5:1, 2, 8-21
Justication through faith in Jesus leads to internal sanctification in all areas of our lives.
So what is sanctification according to the Word of God?
Sanctification is the spiritual circumcision of the heart. Sanctification is the ongoing process of regeneration of the human soul and spirit and body within born again Christian's enabling them to produce the nature of God and the Kingdom of God in miracles, signs and wonders. Sanctification is the removal of the callousness (the stubborn will; rebellion; the voluntary and involuntary ignorance to God's will, Word and ways) which prevents or hinders us from fully obeying God and living for God.
The Bible says, We are sanctified (made clean, renewed) through the Word of God (written and revealed Word of God by the Holy Spirit) and the ministry work of the Holy Spirit within us. -Ezekiel 36:25-27; John 15:3
Sanctification is the ongoing process of being daily cleansed with clean water. Clean water utilized in sanctification refers to:
.The Word of God. -John 15:3
.The baptism of the Holy Spirit. -Mark 1:8; John 1:33, 14:16-26; Acts 1:8, 2:1-4
.The baptism of Repentance.
-Ezekiel 36:25, Matthew 3:3&16; Mark 1:4-11; Luke 3:3
Sanctification is the process of receiving a new heart and a new spirit. A new heart is referring to the inner most life source within every human being which controls our life span and longevity of life. A new spirit is referring to the conscience of good and evil and one's renewed ability to choose good over evil. A new spirit is, also, one's nature, inner personality and right and moral character. -Ezekiel 36:26
Sanctification is the process of being sealed with the Holy Spirit through salvation (justification through faith in Jesus). Sanctification enables and empowers us to receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit (spiritual activation of gifts and effective witnessing for God through the baptism of the Holy Spirit). -Mark 1:8; John 1:33; Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 4:31, The Book of Acts
Is water baptism the proper name for the baptism of repentance?
No. The proper reference to baptism into Christianity is the baptism of repentance. It does no one any good to be drenched in water or sprinkled with water, if there is no change of heart or lifestyle in accoradance to God's Word and requirements. The baptism of repentance which John the Baptist passionately proclaimed and demonstrated held an individual being baptized in water through repentance to change morally in their thoughts, communication and actions. -Matthew 3:2&6; Mark 1:4-5; Luke 3:3
Justification through faith in Jesus is only the first step to living a redemptive life over sin and the conditions and penalties of sin. We must follow up with sanctification. We have to change our behaviors, thought patterns and how we communicate by purposely aligning ourselves daily; moment by moment to the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
If we are going to hold anyone accountable of keeping God's Word, let it be ourselves. If we are going to judge and punish anyone for not keeping God's Word and meeting His requirements, let it be ourselves. If we are going to hold anyone to a higher standard of living, let it be ourselves.
God will bring everyone and every heart into judgment for the deeds, thoughts and words spoken and done in this lifetime. No will escape the judgment of God. All will be found out and exposed before a holy God in spirit, soul and body Who will judge every individual based on His Word. -Ecclesiastes 12:14; Jeremiah 17:10; John 12:47-48
Baptism of repentance is repenting of one's sins and turning one's heart to God. Baptism of repentance is to think differently; to change your mind (intellect, proclivity of thoughts); regretting your sins; amending your ways; bearing conduct worthy of a changed hearts; a heart purposely rejecting the habitual practice and thoughts of sin. -Matthew 3:2; Mark 1;4; Luke 3:8
No one can repent for you. You must repent and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior for yourself. It's a Christian lifestyle not just a confession.
Sanctification is all about becoming better through Jesus. Sanctification is not based on keeping the law in order to gain eternal life. Sanctification is about receiving Jesus and living a life that honors God that rewards us with eternal life through faith in Jesus. If anyone declares themself an advocate for Jesus let it be me. Let it be you.
