The Principle of Faith In Jesus/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
We are partakers of God's grace and have peace with God through Jesus. -Romans 3:24, 5:2
Salvation and sanctification are for all people, yet many. Jesus atoned for the sins of all mankind, one time for all people (John 3:16; Romans 3:24-25; Hebrews 9:26-28). Yet, not all will receive eternal salvation through Jesus. Whosoever will let them come.
In Christ we are all one body, one joint, united nucleus of life. We are many members within one infrastructure with many functions and systems consisting of divine laws, principles, divine truths and eternal acts of power and gifts of ministration and service, governments and divinity. We are one entity, yet conglomarately many different parts having our own unique identity and personality in Christ Jesus (1Corinthians 12:12, 13, & 27).
Salvation and sanctification are for all, yet many. But why many? Jesus atoned for the conditions of sin for all mankind, but every individual must personally believe and receive the atonement of Jesus for their sins for themselves.
Our confession of Jesus through faith is a personal act of faith. When we believe in Jesus and confess Him as our Lord and Savior, repenting of our sins, we are applying the principle of faith. We must repent of our sins and believe in Jesus in our own hearts for ourselves. Salvation and sanctification is a confession and a belief of Jesus in one's own heart for one's own self (Romans 3:22, 10:9-10).
Namely the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is meant for all who believe. For there is no distinction. -Romans 3:22
Our personal faith in Jesus brings us closer to God. It is through faith we live our lives to honor God. Faith without works is ineffective. Moreover, works without faith is ineffective. Are you living in deactivated faith?πππ€π
For we hold that a person is justified and made right by faith independent of and distinctively a part from good deeds (works of the Law alone). The observance of the Law has nothing to do with justification (salvation through faith in Jesus). -Romans 3:28
Do we then by [this] faith make the Law of no effect, overthrow it or make it a dead letter (ineffective in its principles of moral truth and moral right and wrong)? Certainly not! On the contrary, we confirm and establish and uphold the Law (the Word of God; moral laws guiding the existence of humanity and creation). -Romans 3:31
So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself it is destitute of power (inoperative, nonexistent, ineffective). -James 2:17
In no way is the Apostle Paul raising the argument that under grace we can live without the principled guidance of the Word of God.π Oh my goodness.π€¦♀️π The Apostle Paul was clearly emphasizing that we cannot just be a good person and go to heaven. It doesn't work like that.
We must through faith in Jesus live our lives to honor God and to do what's right based on the fundamentals of the Word of God, after receiving salvation. The power of the Law is to show us our state of sin and to lead us to repentance, faith and holy character (Romans 3:20). If we say we have no need for the Law of God, we are then saying we have no need for any spiritual guidance.ππ Lord help us all.π€¦♀️
We can conclude that the power of faith is righteousness through Jesus. Our faith in Jesus and the ministry work of the Holy Spirit within us empowers us to bear good fruit that remains. Being authentic to who we are as an individual yet one with the nature and life of Jesus, we are empowered to produce within our own personality the nature of God through Jesus. It is the nature of Jesus and the power of agreement that Jesus is our Lord and Savior that unites Christian's and makes us one within the body of Christ.
God emphasizes throughout the New Testament the importance of making it a habit of doing what's right according to the Scriptures. The reward of doing so is glory, honor and peace within our hearts through Jesus (Romans 2:9). Right beliefs and right actions is a proclivity of faith that stems from our hearts (one's life source; the conscience; the moral seat of decisions; one's motivations) (Romans 2:15).
Is righteousness an act alone? No. Righteousness is also a right belief. We must do what is right because we believe doing what is good is right. Amen.
God does not want us to robotically go through the motions of Christianity. When we do that it becomes nothing more than religious sacrament.π Everything we do as a born again Christian must stem from a posture of our love for Jesus and personal relationship with Him and devotion to Him. Jesus said, "If you love Me, Keep my commandments (John 14:15)." Let's go deeper... When you love Jesus you will keep His commandments out of love and reverence for Him. Amen.
