Being A Light In the World/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Ephesians 5:8 instructs us to walk as children of the Light. 


The Light is:

.Jesus.
.The Truth.
.The Gospel of Jesus.
.The regenerated sons and daughters of God.
.The illuminated one's stemming from a divine origin in God.
.Divine knowledge.
.Divine understanding.
.Divine Wisdom.
.Divine Discretion.
.Enlightment through revelation and discernment.


Christian Conduct As Light Bearers:

In the world walk in kindly goodness, uprightness of heart and trueness of life. Be who and what you say that you are. (Ephesians 5:9).

Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurrately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise sensible and intelligent people. -Ephesians 5:15

Moreover, walk as children of the Light in the Lord. Jesus is the origin of our light. -Ephesians 5:8


Biblical Truths About Jesus

.Jesus is the Light of the world. -John 1:4

.Jesus is the true Light giving illumination (truth; divine guidance and principles) to all mankind (revealing the truth through the Gospel). -John 1:9

.Jesus is the Light that came into the world. Those who practice the truth (who does what is right) come out into the Light, so that their godly conduct can clearly show that they rely on God in all things. -John 3:19 & 21

.Those who abide in Jesus have life (eternal input and output of divine energy, effort, health, vitality, prosperity and breath). -John 1:4

.Those who abide in Jesus do not practice ignorance or incompetence to what is truth (what is right and pleasing to God according to the Word of God). -Ephesians 5:11

.Those who abide in Jesus practice Christian conduct and walk in the fruit of the Holy Spirit. -Romans 12-13; Galatians 5:22-25

.Those who abide in the light are not intimidated by the darkness. -Matthew 5:14-16; Ephesians 5:8,10-15

.Those who abide in the light of Jesus are sanctified by Jesus, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. -Ezekiel 36:27; John 16:13-16; Colossians 1:16

The Illumination of Divine Light:


Q. What does it mean to understand?

We must seek to understand the Light. We must walk in the Light. We must BE the light (an extension of Jesus) in a world full of gross darkness. For the greater the darkness... the more relevant and prevailing the light must become and is.
