Healing Part 1; The Divine Healing of God/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
This was an extensive study over the past 2 weeks. Healing is derived in spirit, soul and body. Healing impacts every area of our lives. So what is divine healing according to the Bible?
Healing
Heal me, Oh Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise (Jeremiah 17:14).
The divine healing of God is likened to the Fountain of living waters.
The divine healing of God heals our burdens and lifts our burdens off of us (Matthew 11:28-30).
The divine healing of God moves us out of the way of destruction.
God heals us through worship and through the offering of thanksgiving.
God heals us through fragrant oils in calm spaces.
The divine healing of God is proactive and effective.
The divine healing of God restores us to health, bringing reform and restoring what is good and what is right.
The divine healing of God is a part of our salvation and eternal inheritance as Christian's.
When God heals us, there is a building up of good health in our immunity and our lives.
When God heals us, He is moving by His power and His might.
Our bodies have the ability and capacity to heal themselves over a period of time. That's what we call involuntary healing. However the healing of our spirits and souls are voluntary.
As we heal, God is our Strength, Stronghold and Refuge through the healing process. Medicine, exercise, doctors and natural remedies can only do so much. There is a depth of healing that only God can cure at the root.
Healing is a blessing.
God heals us through trees, plants, water, roots, leaves, green vegetation, heat, the sun, sight and fruit. God utilizes people to bring about healing; those who perceive, understand and are familiar or have some level of experience with our afflictions such as doctors, counselors, mentors, teachers and pastoral leaders.
When God heals you, stay healed. Avoid people, places and things that can resurface old wounds or even cause new wounds.
Healing restores hope and increases our faith (Jeremiah 17:7-8).
Healing provides blessing and restoration.
Healing provides peace (ceasing to be or to feel overburdened, anxious, wearied or worried).
The Lord is my Healer. The Lord is my Shepherd (Psalms 23; Jeremiah 23:1-6).
Divine healing releases God's divine protection, guidance, fruitfulness, multiplication, provision, learership, oversight, compassion, righteousness, the sovereignty of Jesus rule and reign, and the vindication of God (Jeremiah 23:1-6).
God promises to bless His people and to heal them.
6 I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not put them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
7 I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be My people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto Me with their whole heart (Jeremiah 24).
