"Being a child is no fun! When I grow up I am going to do whatever I want," grumbled Kaylin.
"Is that right," replied Jesus?
(Startled)... "Jesus! You really do hear us," exclaimed Kaylin!π
(Laughing)... "Sure I do. That's my job. So what's all the fuss about, Kaylin," said Jesus?π€£
"Mom won't let me go to the park until I clean my room," complained Kaylin.
"Well it does need to be tended to. Your bed hasn't been made, your dirty clothes are scattered on the floor, and your desk has books and papers everywhere. You need to get organized," replied Jesus.
"Don't remind me.π€¦♀️π€£ I know it's a bit untidy at the moment, but I want to go to the park and then clean my room later," said Kaylin.
"Uh... Kaylin,π. Kaylin don't you think that's a bit backwards," said Jesus?
"No. Not really. From a childs perspective it makes perfect sense, Jesus. This is my thoughts on the matter, and I am sticking to it," said Kaylin.π
"Kaylin. Kaylin. Kaylin.π Little one. What does the Bible say? Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. Honor your father and mother, that your days may be prolonged on the earth," said Jesus.
"But can't I got to the park first and then do the obedience stuff, Jesus? I want to play with my friends," replied Kaylin.
"Kaylin. Kaylin. Kaylin. Is cleaning and organizing your room that hard for you to do? Your mom does much of the chores. Is this one chore that difficult for you to do," asked Jesus?
(Puzzledπ)... "Since you said it that way, I suppose not. You're right. She does do much of the chores. Doing this one chore won't be that bad. I think," said Kaylin.ππ€£
"Very good. Repeat after me. Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right," said Jesus.
(Mutters)... "Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. But I still prefer to go to the park first," said Kaylin, as she cleans and organizes her room.π€£π
"Huh... Kaylin. Kaylin. Kaylin," replied Jesus.π€£π€¦♀️
