Building Healthy Infrastructures of Life
Building healthy people.
Building a healthy community.
Building healthy commitments.
Build healthy people and a healthy culture that signifies healthy commitments to a healthy community.
The goal?
Healthy.
You can gather people together and build a culture and a community, but if there is no commitments to being healthy, you have failed. The opposite of healthy is unhealthy. Being unhealthy will result in despair and toxicity. Being unhealthy will result in trauma and drama.
The key to building healthy people, cultures, communities and commitments is to build with people who are like-minded in their health of purpose, will, emotions, thoughts, beliefs, dreams, relationships, finances and fitness. Being like-minded does not imply racial or gender differences or diversity in life, beliefs or purpose. However, like-mindedness does imply the same mission... that is to become better and to inspire and to encourage others to do the same.
If you are an up beat and peaceful person and have proven to be a person of joy, peace and unity... do not surround yourself personally with people who are divisive, drab, negative, overly critical, mean spirited, abrasive, judgmental, depressive, oppressive, unstable or who loves division. You will be miserable around these kinds of people and groups. Why? Because you have gone outside your realm of a complimentary sphere, climate and culture. You cannot expect good from evil, intelligence out of blatant incompetence, light out of the darkness of callous hearts and souls.
When the Bible says, "There is no darkness in God at all." It wasn't referring to the actual dark but rather sin, evil and ignorance. We all know that light can dwell in dark places, because that's where most of creation germinates, morphs and photosynthesizes. So to imply that that kind of darkness is what the Bible was referring to can be ruled out with confidence.
We all lack knowledge, understanding and wisdom in areas of our lives. However, to be blatantly ignorant and to resist understanding and the use of wisdom is a totally different subject. If you lack knowledge, understanding or wisdom... surround yourself with like-minded individuals who have what you desire and need and glean from their lives, good habits and good thought processes of how and why they do and think that way.
You can break unhealthy habits, cycles and stop gravitation of things toward you that deplete you, diminish you and cause unnecessary despair and defeat in your life. Ask God to lead you to the right people, the right culture and the right community who believes in healthy commitments.
Have standards in place to protect yourself from going over the edge of silly what was I thinking behavior. Have walls in place to protect your life, love one's and vision from enemy invasion. It's okay to have standards and walls just know your reason for having them.
Don't let negative people who try to invade your privacy and space drain you of energy through their ongoing debates and criticisms. Pull back when you have to. Know when to exit the room, rejuvenate, refocus and come back refreshed for the tasks at hand.
There are some aspects of your overall health that is within your control. You can revise your life. You can go in the right direction and remain on track. You can have a good outcome along the way.
