In order to be successful as a Christian, you have to "live from your spirit". To be successful in every area of your life as a Christian, you must be in touch with the world without being conformed to the ways and thought patterns of the world. In order to be successful and prosperous as a Christian, you must be God conscience and not world conscious.
Christ redeemed the spirit of our conscience so that He could flow through it without distortion of what is right or what is Truth. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law that flows though the realm of our conscious or the realm of the flesh. Need a biblical reference? John 8:32; Romans 7; Ephesians 4:21 and Hebrews 9:14.
What spirit is influencing you? The Holy Spirit or the spirit of the world? "Submit and commit your bodies to the Lord. This is a logical and reasonable request and commandment of service unto the Lord. Be not conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is God approved (Romans 12:1-2)."
Some of us read the Bible like it's optional. The Bible is "basic instructions before leaving earth". The Bible is mandatory (Joshua 1:8; Psalms 119; 2Timothy 2:15.
Where are your commitments? Where your commitments are, in God or the the world, there your affections and focus will be also (Matthew 6:21). Your actions PROVE who and what your allegiance is to. Actions speak LOUDER than words. If your actions are in contrast to what you profess to be true... you have just failed.
Assess where you are spiritually not just intellectually. If you are spiritually imbalance, then you will be governed by information, your senses and the world more than revelation, your regenerated spirit and the Holy Spirit. Spiritual imbalance communicates that you are living from your lower self. Jesus came that we can live from our higher selves (1Corinthians 1, 2:10-16; 2Corinthians 10:3-6).
Jesus not only taught and proclaimed the gospel. Jesus was the gospel. Jesus showed us the Kingdom of God in demonstration and power. Jesus lived from the dimension of His higher self; His conscience.
"We behold His glory (Luke 9:28-36; John 1:14.)" The Apostle John wasn't just communicating the countenance of Jesus but the power of God in Jesus in action. The power of God flowing through the ministry of Jesus was produced by the Holy Spirit that flowed to His Spirit through His senses and His body in miracles, signs, wonders and the proclamation of the gospel in splendor, majesty, brilliance and brightness.
If Jesus lived from the realm of the flesh, there would be no manifestation and demonstration of miracles, signs and wonders on earth as it is in heaven. The influence of Jesus' glory came from a higher Source of government and power. The influence of God the Father Who was and is the Source of Jesus' glory flowed through the dimension of the conscience and not the realm of the conscious.
Jesus said to Nicodemus, "You must be born again of (be a Christian through) the Holy Spirit and the dimension of divinity. Spirit was twofold in John 3:5-8. Jesus was revealing that we must be from the same being or birthed out of the dimension of God. Jesus was, also, communicating that we must be found in the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit must be found in us.
Let me give you some biblical references of Scripture to validate my thoughts. The Bible says, "We are seated in heavenly places in and with Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:20-23, 2:6)." The Bible also says that the Holy Spirit will be in you and empowering you (John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4). The Holy Spirit also seals us as our guarantee for eternal life after death (Ephesians 1:13-14, 3:16).
Heavenly places in Christ Jesus with Christ Jesus communicated a dimension higher than the earth realm. There are realms and then there are dimensions. Earth has an ending or stopping point, while heaven and eternity does not. The flesh will perish. The spirit lives in forever.
The conscious is birthed out of the sin nature. The flesh is our lower, fallen state of existence. When you live in the realm of the flesh, you are mastered by sin. When you live in the realm of the flesh, you are living on the lower level of your existence, subjected to producing the results of your fallen state of existence without regeneration and without God.
The conscience is birthed out of the nature of God. The conscience renewed in Christ is your resurrected state of being having mastery OVER the sin nature (Romans 6:5-7, 11-22). Living from the dimension of your higher self you are not only seated in heavenly places with Jesus but, also, with God the Father high above all principality, powers of the lower nature, might and dominion and name that is named in this world and the world to come. The conscious realm of your existence is filtered through the Spirit and the dimension of the conscience. The influence of what you are receiving consciously from the external world should always be filtered through the internal existence of your renewed conscience. Your renewed conscience is governed by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
If you as a Christian live from the realm of your conscious or lower self, your are doing God, the gospel of Jesus and yourself a disservice. The gospel is predicated on the Kingdom of God not the world. The gospel is produced from the inner conscience and not the external conscious.
