Managing My Responses- How To Respond To Critics and Challenges/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy

A Carnal Mentality

Challenges? We all face them. However, your response or reaction is crucial to the outcome of whatever challenges you face.

When you react to a challenging situation, don't be surprised when the results are carnal. The Bible is clear, when you sow to the flesh (carnal appetites, proclivities and nature of your humanity), you will reap corruption (Galatians 6:7-8).

To be carnally minded is the temporal realm of the physical senses. Carnality is a realm limited to time, space and matter. Carnality is governed by your emotions and how you feel versus what God has said.

A carnal mind is reactive mind. Carnality is limited to an earthly response born of the flesh or the nature of sin. A carnal person cannot produce the Kingdom of God.

A Spiritual Mentality

God rewards a response. Do not premeditate a scheme or plot to pursue your own debase and fallen nature outside of the Word of truth, salvation and God's unmerited grace. Proverbs teaches us that there is a way that appears to be right, feels right and believes to be right (born out of a reaction or relying on your own debase nature outside of the Word of truth, salvation and God's unmerited grace), but the end leads to destruction (Proverbs 14:12-16/Amplified Version).

A persons who is spiritually minded and guided by the Holy Spirit is not limited to time, space or matter, because God does not need space but rather creates time, space and matter from the resources of the eternal dimensions of God. A persons who is spiritually minded is not limited to the physical senses or human limitations but rather propelled by the Spirit of God too move in heavenly dimensions and timing. The spiritual minded is the origin of revelation and discernment.

To be spiritually minded is not a realm but rather dimensions of God's eternal sovereignty, power, personhood and presence. The spiritually minded do not conceive the will of Satan or humanity. They conceive the perfect will of God.

Does God React or Resond?

Does God react? Some will judge God's justice, vengeance or righteous wrath as evil, unjust or reactive. But do we say these things when the law vindicates for the violence against innocent lives? No, we do not.

God is not reactive. God is just. He is the divine Law superior to the law of mankind and their government. When we make laws that contradict the superior Laws of God, God will set us straight.

Yes. God is slow to wrath for the sake of Jesus atonement for our sins, but eventually if we continue in sin and continue reacting to God's Word in blatant disobedience, conjuring up a spirit of rebellion, ignorance and disorder against God's superior Laws, God will become proactive in His sovereignty of the superior hierarchy (Romans 3:9-20). God does not take blatant disobedience lightly (Ephesians 5:1-6). To blatantly disobey God is to communicate that you or we believe ourselves to be superior to God and God's Laws.πŸ‘€

What happens when you stand before the judge and argue your beliefs and feelings out of order?πŸ‘€ A judge will not tolerate such disrespect in their courts and neither will God in heavens government. Rome was known for punishing those who rebelled and stirred up rebellion in their empire.πŸ‘€

A reaction only kindles anger Proverbs says. God does not give us divine guidelines to punish us but rather to keep us from destruction. We live in a fallen world outside of grace. God's Word gives us grace, boundaries and blessings. As long as we adhere to God's Word and the grace of God, we will maintain healthy boundaries and blessings.

The Bible goes on to say that when we respond and sow good and do good according to God's standards, we will reap good in this life and in the life to come (Ephesians 6:7-8). Now this is a two part revelation. Good is a law. Grace is a law.

When you do good in this life, you reap good in this life. However, if you do not receive God's grace through Jesus, no matter how good of a person you are, you will not receive the rewards of eternal life.πŸ‘€ Every law has a stipulation (good or bad). No two laws are the same neither is every two blessings or punishments the same.πŸ‘€

We must learn how to handle life and life's situations more seriously. The state of your life and soul ultimately will be determined by your response or your reaction. Align to God's Word and the power of right principles, and live in the boundaries and blessings of God's grace.
