Lord help us not to be governed by our emotions. Let us live our lives in accordance to what God has said. Help us to respond more than we react to life's challenges, surprises and even blessings. I renounce the spirit of carnality. Help us to walk in the spirit so that we will not be overcome or overwhelmed by the lust, tests and temptations of this world. Thank You for the moral laws and the Word of God, so that we can know what is acceptable and unacceptable before God. Thank You for the superior Law of God. Help us to obey your Word, because we want to honor You. Forgive us for every time we violated the Word of God knowingly and unknowingly. Help us to be more mindful of how we respond or react to Your Word. Thank You that as we obey Your Word, it is accounted unto us as righteousness. Thank You for the boundaries of Your commandments, Your grace and Your blessing, in Jesus name. Amen.
