The Kingdom of God- Getting to Know Jesus/Rashea@LLO2 Academy-TAC Youth Edition

Am I too young to have a personal relationship with Jesus?

No.

My question is, are you too young to have a personal relationship with your parents and siblings?

No. Of course not!

We must first be introduced to Jesus before having an understanding of Jesus and a personal relationship with Him as our Lord and Savior.

When you come into this world you don't know or have an understanding of who your parents or siblings are right away. You are introduced to them through daily encounters. You learn them and love them, because you are around them. As you are around them, the bond grows.

Then one day, over the course of time the light bulb goes off on the inside, an illumination or epiphany that this is my family (mom, dad brothers and/or sisters).

It's the same way with Jesus. You are introduced to Him, and then one day you have an epiphany and grow to understand that Jesus is your Lord and Savior.

You grow into your relationship with Jesus and understanding of Him over the course of time.

It's not automatic.

It's gradually.

The great thing about being introduced to Jesus at a young age is that you get a head start in your knowledge of Him. You're able to build a solid foundation of Jesus early in life while some build theirs later on in life.

Jesus invites young people to the table all the time. "Do not forbid the youth to come unto Me for such is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 19:14; Luke 9:48)."
