I have to get this term paper done. It's due tomorrow.

"Forget about the term paper for a bit. Let's go hang out."

Contemplation...🙄💭.  Make the grades or please my friends?

Sounds familiar. Doesn't it?

The juggling of responsibilities. 

The tug of war between what you need to do versus what you want to do or what other's want you to do.

The Bible says all things are lawful for me, but all things are not beneficial (1Corinthians 10:23).

So ask yourself, "Will hanging out help me to get my paper in on time, or will it cause me to fall behind and cram my thoughts together?"

Will you be giving a 100% effort or half of that, if you choose to please your friends and go hang out?

Will hanging out with your friends put you at risk of failing the class or getting a lower grade out of the class? Will this class impact your future?

These are all real life scenarios to consider.

Real friends, good friends cheer you on.

Let's try this again.

"No. No thanks. I'll pass this time. I'll order in or snack on something here at home. I really have to get this paper done by tonight."👌🏾💯
