Kingdom Leadership 2024- The Courage To Lead (Joshua 1)/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy- Leadership Edition

You cannot lead afraid. You cannot lead effectively with fear in your heart. You cannot lead others to a destination gripped with fear of the unknown.

God knew this. He commanded Joshua three times to be strong and of good courage in Joshua chapter 1. Effective leadership requires strength, courage and strategic planning.

Everyone has an opinion. But what is God saying to you? Everyone has a preference. But what is your vision?

Leaders without a vision wonder aimlessly. Having a vision gives the team a trajectory of where they are going, how to prepare and an idea of how to get there.

A team without a vision isn't going anywhere. A leader without courage to drive the vision will not go anywhere. Moses had the way out of Egypt. However, Joshua had the way into the promise land.

Are you still crying over Egypt? Or do you have the strength and courage to obtain the promised land? Wanderers who worry have no sense of direction, because they have no vision or courage. Warriors have the courage to fight their way into the promised land. Joshua and Caleb were convinced that the promised land was obtainable to inherit.

God blesses leaders and teams who have the strength and courage to believe BEYOND what they see that is discouraging and intimidating them. Strength and courage communicates leaders and teams have the will and the boldness to defend and to defeat. Joshua the weeping warrior had to pull himself together to lead with a clear mind.

God knew that if Joshua led distracted by his emotions and the loss of Moses that he could not lead the children of Israel effectively into the promised land against their enemies. Leaders must lead with a clear mind. Our leadership is the most effective when we are clear in our thinking and reasoning. A clear mind that isn't clouded by your emotions enables you to receive revelation from God and not just information from those around you.

There has to be a vertical connection to God and not just a horizontal connection to those around us. Moses ear was to the heart of God. However, Joshua would become the horn of God. Moses prepared the priesthood, but Joshua led the priesthood.πŸ™ƒ Some leaders are equipped to lead out and to prepare. While other leaders will lead in through those who have been prepared to lead.πŸ™ƒ

"Moses my servant is gone. Joshua, pull yourself together and lead these people with strength and courage into the promised land." There is a time when grieving has to cease and courage must become your constant companion to lead effectively.

This is the season and time where God is calling leaders to strengthen and courage. Cowarding season is over. GET UP AND LEAD WITH STRENGTH, COURAGE AND VISION!
