Kingdom Leadership 2024- The Foundation of Leadership Transformation/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy- Leadership Edition

The foundation of leadership transformation starts with you. Who needs to change first? You.

You cannot demand anything from your team that you are unwilling to do first. Leaders go first in regards to transformation. I see way too many leaders pressuring their teams to change, while they invest little effort in changing themselves.πŸ™ƒπŸ‘€πŸ€¦‍♀️

Transformation in leadership is not an external job. Transformation in leadership, as a leader, is an internal job. So many people change the cosmetics of the outside but fail to change on the inside.

Reformation leads to transformation. Stop looking to change the outside, if you haven't invested in changing on the inside. Value starts within.

Do you know why so many leaders invest so much on external cosmetics? External cosmetics are the first things people see. However, what does your life and leadership reveal beyond the external cosmetics?

The foundation of transformation in leadership is acknowledging you have weaknesses as well as strengths. Yes, by all means be fluent in your strengths, but I warn you, people do not fail because of their strengths but rather their weaknesses.

You have never heard a leader say, I failed because of my strengths.πŸ˜‚. Leaders fail because of their weaknesses. Moreover, leaders succeed because of their strengths.

If you fail to only be fluent in your strengths, and neglect to strengthen your weaknesses, it is only a matter of time before you fail. While being fluent in your strengths, take time to strengthen your weaknesses. Your weaknesses can become strengths, when you work on them.πŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ’―

You can go from 80 to 90, if you work on your weaknesses. Why stay at 80 when 90 is possible? Why 90 and not 100? Realistically, you will always make mistakes as a human being, but 90 communicates improvement not perfection.

The foundation of leadership transformation is to daily improve not to be perfect. Show yourself some grace. Take strides in excellence, but do not strive to be perfect.

There will always be room to improve. Excellence says, "I know I will make mistakes, but I will always put forth the effort to improve and to do my best." Rise high, and stay steady.
