Guided Prayer for Progressive Professionalism in Leadership:

Dear God, help me to understand that my role and title doesn't define me as a person but that who I am as a person impacts my role and title as a leader and professional. Help me to set a moral code of conduct that governs my professionalism on and off the clock. Help me to be professional, even when I am relaxed and at my leisure. Help me not to be rude or abrasive with those around me. Even when I have to have tough conversations, help me to do so with tact and grace. Help me to practice integrity. Help me to be gracious and patient with those who might be having a challenging moment or day. Help me to not allow others to take advantage of my grace and patience. Help me to walk in integrity at all times, admitting my mistakes and quickly fixing my mistakes when necessary. Let me never be above apologizing to others when I need to. Help me to unify the team and not be a conduit of discord. Help me not to be partial towards those I prefer and impartial towards others who's beliefs and lifestyle differ from my own. Help me to daily practice progressive professionalism, in Jesus name. Amen.
