Kingdom Leadership 2024- L.E.A.D.E.R/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy- Leadership Edition

L.E.A.D.E.R

Leader. Leadership will always require leading in some compacity, even if leading requires following other good leaders who are going the same way or who have been where you're going.

However, sometimes leadership will require leaving where you have been to get to a new destination.🎯 Leading is leaving what was to embark on what will be. Leading is going where you have never been before.

You have the training. You have the knowledge. You have the directions, but where you're going is all new.

New people. New places. New things.

New possibilities. New opportunities. A new environment.

New destinations, no matter how much you know or how much experience you have, will require further training, more knowledge and new direction. The dynamics will forge a new way of leading, following and doing things. New dynamics combined with prior training,  knowledge and experience will catapult you to new dimensions of leadership and what is possible.

Emergence. Leadership will require a merging of some kind throughout your time in leadership. Merging, combining your impact with other cohesive entities, will allow you to emerge with greater effectiveness and efficiency.

Don't be the lonely ranger. Network. Networking with the right people, places and things can build your brand, revenue and your reputation as a leader and organization.

Who you network with does matter. Their mission, vision and values have to harmonize with your own. Don't get caught up in names. Seek out and pursue endeavors and networks that have a good reputation, develops quality leaders and have a steady flow internally and externally no matter what is going on in the economy, industry or in the world.

Attitude. Leadership will require you to be consistent in your attitude towards, leadership, other leaders and your consumers. How you value yourself will manifest in the way you handle others. Your attitude determines your altitude.

Don't let having authority go to your head, because you can lose your authority, if your attitude is bad. Approach authority with the mindset that this is a privilege that I have been entrusted with. Power and authority are earned not given. Power and authority in the wrong hands can destroy the vision, organization and the morale.

As a leader, your attitude impacts your altitude. No matter how much you know, stay humble, because you will encounter things that you don't know. These unfamiliar encounters will require you to learn new information, new skills and sometimes new people. Power and authority don't prepare you for that, but humilty and the willingness to learn new things will!

Demonstration. Leadership will demand that you show up and lead the team. If you cannot demonstrate leadership than you're not a leader but a follower.

Leadership will present opportunities and challenges that will command your attention, expertise and efforts. Challenges will require strategies, stamina and endurance to see things through until the end. A mission is not complete until it is accomplished.

The vision is the blueprint. However, the mission is the assignment. The mission is the aim or destination. These components require determination and demonstration. You have to demonstrate the fortitude and resilience it takes to lead your team through the finish line.

Evaluation. Along the way evaluate your progress. How are you doing?

You assess. Have the team assess. Allow your consumers to assess.

Be open to constructive criticism. Challenge and prepare yourselves to change and enhance whatever is lacking, failing or producing little growth and return. Good leaders evaluate their progress, their teams and themselves.

In order to get better, you must do better. In order to do better, you must honestly evaluate how you are doing. Gather the team, the data, listen to ideas and come together and decide what ideas will work for where you are, where you are going and what direction God is leading you as the world changes.

Resilience. Leadership requires the ability to bounce back. There will be highs and lows. Guaranteed.

No team, organization, corporation or leader is on top of the world all the time. This was true even in Jesus' life, and He was considered perfect. So, get it out your mind that leadership is a smooth ride all the time. It's not.

You will fail. I know we like to say that there is no such thing as failure, but it is. Just as success exist, failure exist, also.

However, this is the good news! From every failure you can learn how to succeed. From every failure, you can come back stronger. From every failure, you can learn what not to do.

But I will also say this, that every lesson isn't a failure. If you get up and try again, it was just a lesson, but if you remain in defeat, you have failed. Learn the lesson, and move on.

Moreover, stop wasting time and effort on things that aren't working. As leaders, we spend way too much time, resources and effort on things that aren't getting better but worse. They are failing. Stop.πŸ›‘

Ask yourself, your team and even consumers what will work? What do you need to stop? What do you need to invest in and try? What is best?

If you are resilient in the wrong things, the wrong focus, the wrong consumers, you will lose momentum, profit and your relevance. If resilience communicates relevance, then  resilience and relevance will require flexibility. You have to be willing to change and adapt to change, in order to meet the demands of the culture and your team. You have to be willing to change and adapt to change, in order to reach the pinnacle of your vision and complete your mission.

Don't force it. Change it. Don't force it. You change. You cannot enforce what you fail to change. You cannot see change in that which you have failed to bring change to.
