Kingdom Fitness 2024 Edition/Life at 40 and Beyond... Choosing the Right Eating Habits
Let them laugh. When you are young and naive to health issues and unhealthy eating habits, you think you can eat anything. You think and believe eating healthy is absurd.
However, later down the road, those unhealthy food choices and unhealthy eating habits catch up with you. They cause dietary problems. Unhealthy food choices cause physical challenges that could have been avoided, if you would have made healthier food choices before the issues started.
Please be informed that without the proper knowledge, even healthy foods can become hazardous to the body. It is important to educate yourself. Get the right information on how to properly prepare your food.
Your body has the ability and capacity to heal itself. What you put in your body can either help the healing process or hinder it. So study and eat wisely.
Eating healthy is not weakness or foolishness. Eating healthy in your 40's is wisdom. It builds strength, stamina, clarity and longevity for life. You, also, look and feel better.
While God gives us the option to eat meat, He intended for us to live on fruits and vegetables (Genesis 1:26-28). Fruits and vegetables are easier for the body to digest. If you eat the proper foods, you will feel full without feeling sluggish.
Don't get me wrong. Eating meat is perfectly fine, when eaten in moderation. I recommend that you follow dietary guides that are tailored to your body type, and listen to your body. Your body will tell you what meats work and don't work for your body and nutritional regimen.
Go lighter. It is scientifically accurate to say that eating heavier meals slow down our metabolism and digestive systems momentum. When this happens, you gain weight instead of losing weight.
But why? Well... your body lacks the energy that is necessary to keep your body healthy. So, because you lack the energy necessary to keep your body healthy, the food that you eat sits dormant in your body and digestive system. This causes weight gain and eventually health problems.
Please note: It is important to fuel your metabolism by eating healthy, heart healthy foods.
Organic is recommended by nutritionists. However, if organic foods is not in your budget, go as healthy as possible and get as many organic foods that your budget will allow. Lean closer to items that are fresher, if organic is not available or in your budget. You can still be healthy, even if it's not organic. Follow helpful nutritional guides when choosing your dietary plan.
Here are keys to what foods to eat:
If its green, leafy, dark, hearty or vibrant in color, eat it. Fruits and vegetables produce healthy sugars, enzymes, proteins and organic flavors your body needs regularly. Organic sugars, enzymes, proteins and flavors, when utilized and paired properly together, are enjoyable. They enable the body to produce the nutrients and cell life needed to restore the bodies infrastructure and keep you healthy and energetic.
Brave it, and go healthy.
Your body is alive. Therefore, watch for the signs. Your body has the ability to communicate what is helping you or hurting you.
Be proactive. Be adaptable. Be mindful and considerate of what your body needs and what it rejects.
Be proactively probiotic! Incorporate probiotics as needed. Start with a daily one a day. This usually has all the vitamins your body needs as an adult.
Our bodies change as we get older. So that means what you put into your body will possibly change, also. The foods that I consumed when I was younger, I can no longer consume now that I am in my 40's.
My body rejects junk food.π All that sugar. All that salt. Now that I look back I think, how in the world did I do it? How did I consume things that now make me feel horrible when I consume them?
I guess age and life stages bring about a change. Wise up. Grow up.
I do feel better after making the adjustments that are now necessary to keep me healthy in my 40's, with God's help. Don't get me wrong. Eating better requires a mindset adjustment. You have to try and even create new recipes that work for your dietary needs.
Your body needs more green, bright, hearty and vibrant colors, because as you get older your body does not produce the proteins, enzymes and other essential nutrients it once did when you were much younger. In your 40's, you have to be attentive to what you're eating. Be intentional, and take eating healthy seriously. Make it a way of life.
You can be vibrant and healthy in your 40's, if you change your food choices. Take care of yourself, and incorporate an exercise and rest regimen that works for you. Exercise and rest enables the body to break down foods and dispose of waste from the body. Exercise and rest, also, recharges and recovers the body's vibrancy and stamina.
Be healthy without over emphasizing it or stressing out about it. Remember to educate yourself. Support your bodies health, and don't doubt your intuition to be a healthier, a
happier you in your 40's and beyond.
