What is the spirit of the world? The spirit of the world is rivalry, inferiority, superiority, comparison, competition, discord, jealousy, strife, covetousness, division and violence. The spirit of the world are the works of the flesh born of Satan; the devil.


The spirit of the world is self-centeredness and self-absorption. The spirit of the world is never satisfied. It is meagerly greedy with envy and contention. 

The spirit of the world contends with true prophets and pastors of God. While leading its listeners into deception and idolatry, the spirit of the world will proclaim the Bible to be false and irrelevant. The spirit of the world is tormenting, stressful, contentious, divisive and oppressive. 

The spirit of the world is a demonic influence. The spirit of the world is well versed in deception. The spirit of the world will have you questioning God's Word as a lie, instead of you questioning a person's misuse of words, their wrong motivations or wrong behavior. 

When Satan is out to deceive you, the question, "Did God really say," is asked (Genesis 3:1)?"👀 

THE SPIRIT OF OF THE WORLD IS OF THE DEVIL. Its intent is to establish the Babylonian system of idolatry in the house of God by utilizing the methods and systems of Egypt (oppression). SELF-ABSORPTION LEADS TO SELF-DESTRUCTION, EVENTUALLY. Nebuchadnezzar was self-absorbed and Pharaoh eventually self-destruct. 

The spirit of the world is the spirit of the anti-Christ. The spirit of the anti-Christ will enter boldly into the presence of God and contend with God (Job 1 & 2; the Book of Judges; Jeremiah 52; Daniel 6 & Revelation 13). The anti-Christ has not yet come, but the spirit of the anti-Christ already works in the minds, hearts and the will of the ungodly, immoral and unbelieving, according to the Bible. 

BE NOT DECEIVED. The forerunner of the anti-Christ has been at work for centuries. Its IDOLATRY!

The spirit of the world hates peace, joyful occasions and environments. The spirit of the world is always looking to hinder and to suppress the move of God in its demeanor and indifference. The spirit of the world is always seeking to spoil the good mood of others. 

The spirit of the world is disruptive. The spirit of the world hates progress in the Kingdom of God. When things are going well, the spirit of the world will pop up unannounced with the motivation to bring division, discord and regression in the move of God and in the church.

The spirit of the world will have a passive/ aggressive stand off with the anointing on a leaders life. The spirit of python, the spirit of Jezebel, the spirit of Athaliah and the spirit of Joab are always at work when idolatry and the spirit of the world is at work. Stand guard against such evils seeking to prevail against the governmental order and sovereignty of God.

The spirit of the world is anti-Christ and anti-unity. The spirit of the world is humanistic and political in its approach to titles, roles, power, authority and spheres of influence. The motivation of the spirit of the world is self (get ahead and stay ahead at all cost).-Isaiah 14; Ezekiel 28.🙃👀

The spirit of the world is an enemy of God and true self-worth. The spirit of the world will have people thinking more highly of themselves than they ought to and lower of others who are not apart of their sphere. Even those in their sphere are nothing more than pawns to help them get ahead. 

Sometimes, people are being used and don't even know it. Flattery sounds like compliments and encouragement, if you are not discerning. The problem with flattery is its motivation is self-centeredness. We are instructed to be helpers one to another, but woe to those who help others in destroying the unity of the church or an organization for self gain.👀
