Living Well Empowerment 2024; Living with Godly Wisdom in Your 40's... Overcoming the Jealousy of Others Through Godly Wisdom (A 30 Day Devotional for Women- Day 11)/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy
Jealousy is envy. Jealousy is coveting what others have that you want or desire to have. Jealousy is the thought process and belief that you deserve what others have.
We all have needs and desires. So, what's the harm in jealousy? That's the key word. Harm.
Jealousy is harmful. Jealousy, if not tempered, can lead to harm. Jealousy can lead to unnecessary and premeditated harm.
Jealousy is a spirit and a negative emotion. Godly Wisdom is not jealousy. Godly wisdom urges us to be happy for others who are doing well, while trusting God to meet our needs and desires.
Godly wisdom encourages us to work hard, keep a good attitude, and, in due time, we will meet our own goals, fulfill our own dreams and accomplish our own vision without harming others or ourselves.
It is not God's will that anyone be jealous of someone elses portion, life or achievements. We see the end result, but no one really knows what it takes or what it took for that person to achieve their prosperity or their level of success. Jealousy doesn't allow us to consider such things.
Don't be consumed by jealousy, ladies. Be consumed by hard work, initiative, contentment, gratitude and the will to celebrate others along the way. You can achieve your best life with a great attitude without being consumed by jealousy.
