Living Well Empowerment 2024; Living with Godly Wisdom in Your 40's... Don't Be Idle (A 30 Day Devotional for Women- Day 5)/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Ladies, King Solomon diligently emphasizes the point of hard work. People have adopted this saying, "Work smarter not harder." Well, I don't agree with that saying, because life takes diligence and hard work.

Vision is hard work. Parenting is hard work. Being a good person is hard work

Diligence and hard work are self disciplines, and self disciplines require focus. You must focus diligently on your tasks. You must focus diligently on your vision and work hard at it, when you desire to get things done.

Diligence leads to prosperity and good success not laziness.

One who stands around doing nothing productive or who waste time being idle will accomplish nothing. Ladies, if you want to prosper and have some level of success, you have to work hard. What historian do you know ever accomplished greatness or unlocked solutions by being lazy? Exactly.

It's a proverb. It's a divine law. Creativity requires hard work. Rest after you've worked. The rest will be far more fulfilling.

Some say rest when you get to heaven. I don't  think that's wise. Burn out is inevitable, if you go that route.

Our bodies require rest, and ladies, so often, we lack the rest we need at times with the many hats we wear. However, balance the load of to-dos with rest, so that you can be your best self. Breathe, lady. Steady, now.

Let me ask you. Are you writing goals that align with your dreams and vision? Goals keep us from being idle. They give us something to work towards; something to keep us busy & motivated on and off the clock.

Achievement is the opposite of idleness. Achievement implies doing something of value; something worthwhile; something you will look back and thank God you achieved. God honors diligence; persistence; consistency.

The idle hand sits in want. However, the hand that is diligent receives a bountiful harvest. It's a proverb. Be not idle for in due season when you are deliberately diligent at working  hard, you will receive bountiful blessings.
