Living Well Empowerment 2024; Living with Godly Wisdom in Your 40's... Godly Wisdom; Good Fruit (A 30 Day Devotional for Women- Day 25)/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Lady, your everyday life is the result of Wisdom or the lack of it; good decisions or bad decisions. We all face challenges and experience triumphs, but who and what we are, on a daily basis, is the direct result of what advice we are taking heed to. Advice, often times, leads to contemplation and actions.

Be careful of what advice you are taking heed to and who is giving it to you. Bad advice will always lead to ruin, eventually. Stay clear of wrong opinions, gossip and bad company. They can derail your values and set you on a path of despair and failure.

Be careful of people who try to talk you out of making good decisions or slander you for making them. Many times, their hearts and thoughts are in the wrong place. Jealousy, low self-esteem, bitterness, frustration and the need to feel important are often their motivations for their negative outlook on your good decisions.

The objective is to make wise decisions that produce good fruit in your life and in the lives of others. Take a minute and think. What fruit are your decisions producing?

King Solomon tells us time and time again to take heed to sound counsel, and steer clear of bad company and bad advice. As a king, father and leader, he wasn't trying to manipulate or control his people or his family. As a king, leader and father, he was trying his best to keep order throughout the nation and maintain the freedoms and prosperity of his people.

We need godly advisors around us, those who can hear from God and see in the distance. We, also, need godly advisors around us that can see things staring us right in our faces that are sent to bring us to ruin. Godly advisors have an inborn intuition that discerns the climate, the culture and the circumstances.

Who in your life is that to you? Are you close to them? Do you take heed to their inborn intuition or do you reject their advice? What has been the result of you accepting their counsel or rejecting it?

We all can think back and remember circumstances and situations where we wish we would have listened. The outcome could've been a lot different. Right?

But I have good news! Start today. The next time godly Wisdom is offered to you, take it! See how your life improves. Enjoy the fruit of taking heed to godly Wisdom.
