Living Well Empowerment 2024; Living with Godly Wisdom in Your 40's... Seeking Peace Through Godly Wisdom (A 30 Day Devotional for Women- Day 24)/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy
Blessed are the peace makers. They are wise. God wants us to be at peace and seek to make peace with others.
Making peace with others, doesn't imply you allow people to walk all over you or push you around. Making peace with others simply means I have come to resolve within myself that the disagreements, conflict or our differences isn't worth my joy, peace or head space. Making peace simply means I will seek God for the best solution, so we can move forward, even if that means parting ways or going in the same direction.
Making peace with others is you choosing to rise above and be the bigger person. Making peace with others takes courage and humility. It's not always easy to overcome differences, but godly Wisdom knows it's worth it.
Have you ever noticed that when you seek to make peace with others, you feel more at peace within yourself? That's a confirmation that you made a wise decision. It, also, affirms your character and resolve.
Making peace with life and with others enables you to navigate through life with sensibility and strength. Unresolved emotions, negative thoughts and conflict become road blocks to your future, your purpose and your destiny. The Bible warns us, "Give no place to the devil."
Retrieve your inner peace. Resolve it. Then, move forward.
It does not matter if a person doesn't agree with your resolve or peace. As long as you have peace within. Retrieve. Resolve. Then, move forward.
Jesus had bouts of conflict with scholars and religious leaders and even with those in the crowd throughout His ministry here on earth, but Jesus, when finding himself in disruptive and conflicting debates would always retrieve His composure, resolve the matter at hand and wisely move forward in peace.
Lady, you have the same power working within you. When you confront obstacles and combative people and circumstances, retrieve and resolve the circumstances and wisely move forward. What will the resolve look like? I cannot answer that for you. The truth is every resolve will be different, because every circumstance is different. Therefore, seek God for the best resolve, so that you can move forward and remain at peace.
