I am growing up.  

I am changing. Life is changing for the best. Things are improving!

Lord, unite me with those I am called to grow with. Remove from my life those I am not. Dissolve the division in my friendships, as I come full circle in this stage and season of my life.

Whatever your plan is for my life, give me grace to accept it. Give me grace to accept friends you allow to stay and others you remove. Allow those who help me become a better person to stick around. 

I realize not everyone is meant to be my friend. Help me to choose the right friends and associations. 

Help me to connect with friends who are cool, smart, who go to church but, also, other friends who are open to God but not yet Christian's. Help me to lead my friends to Jesus. Let us become better friends and people because of Jesus. 

Give me guidance when making decisions. Give me guidance in choosing the right kind of friends. I willingly and openly analyze and adjust my friendships and connections as You lead me to 

Help me to grow in my friendships and with my friends, even if that means embracing a time of cultivation or departure. My friends are an asset not a burden. They help me to grow in my potential and flourish in my purpose, and I do the same for them. 

My friends add value to my life. They challenge me to grow instead of remaining complacent.

My friends are productive.  My friends are supportive. My friends do not block my dreams.

My friends encourage me to reach for the stars and not descend to the abyss of not knowing who I am or what I want out of life.

My friends are good friends. My friends stick close. They have my back like family.

I distance myself from friends who pull me down and show no interest in my dreams or life.

I choose good friendships. I choose friends with good character above all. This I decree. In Jesus name. Amen.
