The Kingdom of God- The Principle of Balance/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy
Is balance biblical? Is balance really necessary? Well, let's think about examples of imbalance and then determine if balance is necessary.
Why do we have gravity? Gravity exist in order to keep everything anchored in a settled or established position. Gravity balances out the dynamics of velocity. Gravity pulls down, holds in place and stabilizes matter and infrastructures made of matter.
Gravity is utilized to keep everything from floating around at once. Could you imagine a world where gravity did not exist? A world with no gravity or a world with no balance is a world of chaos.
So is balance necessary? If gravity provides established stability or balance, is it not vital to the stability of all things? Balance.
So what is balance? Balance is harmony, equity, stability, equivalence, evenness, proportion, symmetry, counterbalance, equilibrium, footing, justice, poise, impartiality, steadiness and fairness.
So since balance is biblically sound and since balance communicates the harmony, impartiality and justice of God, why do we then say we have no need for balance?π€π If balance gives gravity to our priorities, then why do we live without it? Is not balance in all actuality a priority of being and doing with steadiness and ease?ππΎπ―
Balance helps center our priorities. Balance tempers chaos, distractions and the busyness of the day, so that we can do and complete our priorities. Priorities cannot exist without balance. When we maintain our priorities, we are able to do so because we are balanced.
