Spring Forward... Looking Ahead/ The Affirmations (2025 and Beyond)/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

I will not look back or revert back. I've learnt the lesson, and I am moving forward. I am moving forward in peace, prosperity, purpose and meaningful experiences and relationships with family, friends and selected peers.

I will not give my time, space and presence to everyone. I realize some people add value to me as a person, while others are only sent to drain me of time, space, opportunities, productivity, elevation, resources, blessings and momentum. 

I will observe my sphere. I will observe who and what is in it that is adding value to me as a person. I will also observe who and what is draining me as a person and remove myself from their presence.

I will be honest withmyself. I will not make excuses for those who drain me. Furthermore, I will not fail to acknowledge those who've helped me get this far in my life and journey. 

I will go further than before. I will go further than I thought possible. I will go further than people said that I should, would or could. 

I will not look back. I will look ahead. I will only look back to see how far I've come.

I look forward to a new year, new methods and a fresh spin on my purpose.

I will live forward. I will see forward. I will move forward.

God grant me vision for 2025. Help me to posture my heart and life before you, oh Lord. Help me to lean forward, and allow you to reveal what living, seeing and moving forward looks like.

I will pull away from every distraction. I will pull away from every hindrance. Help me to lean into 2025. Help me to lean into the heart of God with all my mind, might and soul. 

Help me to live forward. Help me to believe forward. Help me to think forward. 

Help me to see forward, heal forward, and move forward. This I affirm, in Jesus name. Amen.

In Christ, distinction and diversity doesn't imply superiority nor inferiority. We are all equal in Christ. Blessed are the peace makers. They are wise. God wants us to be at peace and seek to make peace with others. Making peace with others, doesn't imply you allow people to walk all over you or push you around. Making peace with others simply means I have come to resolve within myself that the disagreements, conflict or our differences isn't worth my joy, peace or head space. Making peace simply means I will seek God for the best solution, so we can move forward, even if that means parting ways or going in the same direction.  Making peace with others is you choosing to rise above and be the bigger person. Making peace with others takes courage and humility. The proper terminology for self care is taking care of yourself in all areas of your life. Self care isn't selfish. It's you taking time to care of your well being.  It's catching up on needed rest. It's taking a day off just to be and breathe deeply. It's taking mini moments just to reflect. It's you communicating to yourself that you matter. How can you take care of others if you're burnt out? How can you take care of others if you are not taking care of yourself first? You can only give to others the energy you have. A lack of rest results in a lack of focus. You cannot produce results at a high level if you are always tired and weighed down with the stress of this life. Girl... shake yourself free, and reset. Rejuvenate, regroup and reflect.
