Every good man has a role model or mentor. Every boss has a boss. Is God your boss and mentor?

The Bible instructs Christian men to pattern their lives after Jesus (Ephesians 5:1). Are you doing that? Are you walking in the nature of Jesus?

You were made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-28). You were created to walk in close relationship with God. The Bible goes on to say, "You are a son of God."

Jesus was God's firstborn Son. Jesus is the first of many sons (Romans 8:29). He walked closely with God the Father (John 10:30).

Jesus was known for quiet solitude moments with God the Father (Mark 1:35-39). Are you making time for God? You should, because as God's son, He will always make time for you.

Are you a real man? Real man of God honor God. Not last but first. Are you a boss? Then, boss up and honor God in your business, family, associations, leisure and walk with God. 

Man of God in the Bible made God a top priority. They weren't ashamed to be man of God either. They were actually know for being man of God and followers of Jesus in their communities and abroad.

They excelled, because God was a priority. They made good decisions, because God was a priority. They overcame adversity, because God was a priority.

What good is it to be a boss if you can't take instructions or follow directions? A big boss has the power and potential to be a good boss and a good man. Don't just be known for your stature, status and power. Be known for having good character. A real man and great boss invest in his character not just his dreams, power and wealth.

Be proactive this year. Get serious about God. Man up, and boss up God's way.

Dear KU Ladies: Focus on you. Love you. Believe in you. Work on you everyday. Taking care of yourself is so important. Be proactive. Learn yourself and know yourself well. Listen to your intuition. I know we live in a culture where we depend heavily on doctor's and medicine. However, some things we experience can be cured just by changing how we eat and incorporating fitness and establishing a practical yet personal relationship with God. I get it. Some people may not need to go to the gym regularly to stay fit. God bless their good genes. However, many of us must incorporate fitness and good eating habits to maintain our health and wellness. I totally understand. Preferences. Beliefs. Everyone is entitled to choose what path they will follow. Whatever suits you.
