Protecting Your Competence

Stay clear of people, places and things that undermine your competence. They will argue with you from here to Africa.😂🤣 It's true though. 


People who always question your competence are intimidated by it. They question you, so that you can then question your capabilities. They do it by being opposing with imposing questions. It's psychological brainwashing. 

Psychological Brainwashing Defined:

"Can I get you to believe that you're not good enough? You're not smart enough or strong enough." The truth is, they are questioning you about things you already have proven you can do and handle consistently. 

Opposing antagonists HATE when others shine more than they do. So, they utilize force, brainwashing or their influence to hinder the progress of those who can do tasks equivalent to or better than them. Those who don't agree with their antics, theories or philosophy are ousted, embarrassed or bullied.

I can't say it enough. Be confident in who you are. Let your life, integrity and character speak for itself. 

Don't always look for people to celebrate you, because I can tell you this, they won't. Celebrate yourself. And when others do celebrate you, show them appreciation.

Everyone doesn't envy or hate your strengths, experiences, competence, or judgment of character. Some people appreciate it. It makes their lives and work load a lot easier. 

Protect your competence. Continue being yourself. God will send the right people with the right intentions and manner who genuinely support you and will pull you through and up to the next level. 

Joseph was bullied by his brothers for God's plans for gis life, but they did not stop God's plans from coming to pass. His journey was not always easy, but it wasn't always difficult either. The Bible says, "But God was with Joseph."  

Sometimes, knowing that God is with you brings peace and inner calm. Tell yourself, "God is with me." This way you are protecting your competence, capacity and calm from those who don't want you to excel and succeed.

No fog, no scattered-brain and no writer's block. I command them to go from you now, in the name of Jesus. Satan often times sends these kinds of attacks on people who are called to write and those who are called to release a powerful impact on others lives through their writings. The key to overcoming such attacks as those is to daily submit your thoughts to God. The Bible exhorts us to be renewed (daily, moment by moment) in the spirit of our minds (Romans 12:2). Daily submerging our minds in God's Word transforms our thoughts and thought patterns. We are filled and fueled with thoughts, imaginations and creativity that are powered and influenced by God. As we submerge our thoughts in the Word of God, our minds are submerged with the divine knowledge, understanding and the wisdom of God. My soul will be still. In God I rest. I will rest my soul in the presence of God, and be refreshed. I will not grow tired. I refuse to be bothered. I will not be weighted down with the cares, deadlines, budgets or pressures of this life. I am not stressed out. I will take time to just breathe. I will take time to be still. I will enjoy moments and the momentum of rest. I will come to the presence of God and find rest. I am a man of God. God is healing me. I am set free from the stress, tears and fears plaguing my life that are weighing me down. Like Abraham, Jacob and Joshua, I will run to God. I am on the Lord's side.
