Walking In the Wisdom of God- Post It Global September Edition

1 Corinthians 1:24-25

24... Christ is the Power of God and the Wisdom of God

25 because God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength.

In the Wisdom of God there is divine power.

What is power? Power is the authority to make authoritative decisions; the empowerment and ability to move things forward; authority to prevail or initiate change; to reign over; the authority to oversee endeavors; to govern over someone or something; supremacy; superiority.

 

Therefore, we can conclude that Jesus is the the Wisdom of God. Christ has the authority and supremacy to decide on matters and to move things forward. And when we practice such Wisdom as Christians, we, too, have the authority and supremacy to decide on matters and to move things forward.

For in Christ there is Wisdom. Why did I capitalize Wisdom? The capitalization emphasizes that God's Wisdom is greater than human wisdom. 

Human wisdom is based upon information and humanistic ideology and opinions. The Wisdom of God is based upon revelation. Revelation is truth. Revelation are thoughts, answers and concepts that proceed from the mind of Christ (God). (1 Corinthians 2:15-16).

In Christ there's Wisdom. The Wisdom of Christ brings clarity of thought and direction. Human wisdom can lead to error and misguidance. There's nothing wrong with being intellectually inclined. However, in being intellectually inclined, we should couple intelligence with intuition (spiritual awareness and wisdom).

So then, we must ask ourselves, how do I follow God? Do I follow Him on the basis of human perspectives and perceptions, or godly Wisdom? Godly Wisdom is the intuitive directional inclination that proceeds from:

.the Holy Spirit. 

.God's Word.

.the conscience. 

.discretion (good judgment).

What is intuitive directional inclination? Intuitive directional inclination is the default or proclivity that proceeds from having mental, emotional and spiritual awareness. These components help guide our decisions, pathway, and focus in external circumstances and situations. It is the means of having clear direction as a result of having mental, emotional and spiritual clarity; to have conscience thought or conscience clarity.

Please note: There are many paths, but there's only one pathway (the Way). (Isaiah 30:20-21).

The God gene is godly Wisdom.  

Actively utilizing the Wisdom of God in our everyday lives communicates that we trust God's insight, foresight, experience, maturity level, and good judgment. These characteristics from God are greater than humanities. Walking in the Wisdom of God means you are paying attention to what God has said, is saying, and will say. The God gene doesn't just draw us out of a life of sin but also into the pathway of the abundant life, prosperity, good success, joy and peace. 

No. Life as a Christian isn't about having a lifetime fill of whoas, struggles and challenges. We were taught to believe that, but that isn't the Bible's clear perspective on such theories and religious theology. As Christians, God has called us to prosper and to have good success. 

It was never God's initial intent that we struggle through life. Yes, everyone faces challenges. However, Jesus reversed the penalty of the fall in Genesis chapter 3 in Genesis chapter 8, and also in New Testament Scriptures. The Scriptures testify that Jesus atoned for the sins of humanity. He extends pardon, grace and godly Wisdom to all those who accept Him as their Lord and Savior. 

Joshua 1:8 and John 10:10 clarifies that it is God's will that we prosper and succeed. God's desire and design for all Christian's is a life filled with blessings and abundance. Godly Wisdom unlocks and bestows those blessings to us.

The same covenant that God made with Abraham he also makes with us. Christians are grafted into the covenant promises of Abraham. That covenant implies blessings and eternal life through Jesus. (Galatians 3-4).

We inherently inhabit the legal right to claim our blessings from God. (Romans 5) We have the right to push back against challenges and a life filled with struggles, uncertainty, conflict and oppression. Abraham wasn't only a patriarch of faith. He was a man who walked in godly Wisdom.

The Bible captures various discussions that Abraham had with God. He sought God for clarity and moved in Wisdom. When war broke out... Abraham sought God for wisdom. When confusion and conflict was in his home, he sought God for Wisdom. When the blessings seemed prolonged, he sought God for Wisdom.

Wisdom said to Abraham, "Go to war and retrieve your family." 

"Clean your house and dispel conflict." 

Again he said to Abraham, "This time next year." 

What is Wisdom saying to you? What is Wisdom declaring over your life? I'm here to declare to you, "THIS TIME NEXT YEAR." Hear the Word of the Lord. Wisdom speaks!

The Bible says, "Abraham BELIEVED God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness." (Romans 4:20-25). Let me say it this way, "Abraham wisely believed in the acts and power of God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." We don't just want faith. We want a faith that is rooted in righteousness and godly Wisdom.
