It has been a while my friend. But some way, some how I find my way to you or may be God brings you to me. It's your words. Your accent. Your presence. Your sisterhood. It's all the above.

Today. It wasn't your words that I read that comforted my heart but the grace and understanding in your countenance and eyes. "I know. It's going to be okay," I sensed you saying.

No. This time I did not stay over night to rest my weary soul after a meal and a heart 2 heart talk with you among those pages of magnolia. Today I just stopped by to say hi, have a cup of coffee, take in the comfort of my dear friends presence, to hear her gentle accent of patience and understanding, shaking off the heaviness of the journey so that I may carry on.


Your presence, your words of grace and transparency, your ability to listen and to teach others is comfort between friends in the distance. I love you, Lady Jo Jo Gaines.🥰 You are my sister, my friend and a journal of inspiration.
