Leadership; Called to Be A Pastor and to Lead Many but Not In the Church?/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Oh my goodness. The calling.πŸ™ƒπŸ˜‚πŸ€£.
Called to be a pastor of thousands but not in the church? Oh my.

Does God call women to pastor? Yes. Not just men, as some say.

I do believe in order, but I do know for myself that protocols don't imply bias of gender in when or who God calls, utilizes and promotes. Moreover, God doesn't just utilize some women as pastor's and not others.πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ What in the world?πŸ‘€ God chooses and uses for HIS right purposes as HE wills.

Pastoring thousands now by the grace of God, when I struggled with pastoring 15 when I first started pastoring people some years ago now. I REALLY struggled with accepting my calling as a pastor. I thought, "God me? But why, me?"πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

And God said, "Yes, Rashea. Yes you. Why not you?"πŸ‘€πŸ’

πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ... "Amen."

I was called to fulfill a role that I had to grow into. It took time, effort, life lessons, A LOT of study time and an enduring yes to God. I discovered over time that although the times and the spaces change, the calling does not.

Once God calls you to be something, you are just that. That's the difference of God calling you and people calling you. People's minds change, but God's mind does not.

I was brought up in the church, but not called to the church.πŸ‘€ Let that sink in. God has taught me over the years that our calling is not restricted to the four walls of the church nor church protocols.

The New Testament was written outside the four walls of the church. Let that sink in. Jesus Himself says, "I call you into the highways and byways to gather souls." So my question is... If the souls are outside the four walls of the church, why have we restricted ourselves and Christianity to the four walls of the church?πŸ‘€πŸ’ Let that sink in.

Everyone isn't called to conform their life's purpose to the four walls of the church! Can I get an amen?πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ However, we are all called to reform and conform to Christ and the Word of God utilized in its proper context. We are called to be minister's of the gospel in whatever arena we are called to on a daily basis.

So. How will you know if God has called you to be a light outside the four walls of the church? You will see results. Jesus saw results. The apostles and disciples of Jesus saw results under the covenant of grace.

How will you know if you have been called by God to pastor rather you are a male or female? You will have the capacity and nature of a shepherd to oversee people and to speak life into their hearts and souls. You will grow in you nurturing nature to fulfill your calling as a pastor. You will see souls to nurture and not objects to misuse.πŸ‘€ Let that sink in.

Does it mean pastor's never sin or make mistakes? No. We do. We are human people!πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

It just means that as pastoral leaders we are more mindful of how we live before God and people. When we miss the mark, we repent and get back on track, leading those who will follow us as we follow Jesus. Called to lead beyond the four walls of the church yet not beyond the standard of Christ.πŸ‘€ Let that sink in.
