The Cornerstone/Rashea@LLO2 Academy
Who you rely on, trust in, adhere and refer to matters. Above all, fully rely on, trust in, adhere and refer to God. God is the one dependable Source that never let's us down or backs down on our behalf.
Moreover, we must be sure that what we are insisting and asking God to bless and to do is His will for our lives. We can take matters into our own hands and make things what we want them to be or what others want them to be, or we can allow God to make our lives what He predestined them to be. I don't know about you, but I prefer a plan that already comes with directions, instructions and solutions. Can I get an amen?ππ€£
Why try to figure it out, when God has already worked at out? When God is in it, He will back it up and protect it. When God is in it, He will keep you from the beginning, in the middle, to the end.
Jesus keeps everything stable. He serves as a pillar and a support beam. That's what a master cornerstone is. It is an anchor to the structure of a building. If you remove that cornerstone, eventually the structure will collapse.
That one stone that serves as a support system holds up the entire structure. Amazing! That's Jesus. He is the Master Conrnerstone of Christianity and our lives. If Jesus is removed not only will the structure of Christianity collapse but so will every structure that is connected to Christianity and Jesus Christ.
We need Jesus in Christianity, the social culture, in the economy, the arts, the marketplace, the educational systems, the government and in the science and the medical fields. When we lean on human intellect alone we can error in Christianity, the social cultural, in how we approach and maintain the ecomomy, the arts, the marketplace, the educational systems, the government and the science and the medical fields. This is what the Bible says about human wisdom versus godly wisdom. Human wisdom (unfiltered or untamed) is superficial. Human wisdom is earthly, unspiritual, animalistic, devilish and demonical. Godly wisdom is from God. Godly wisdom is pure undefiled, peaceful and loving, courteous, considerate and gentle. Godly wisdom is willing to yield to reason, it's full of compassion and good fruits. Godly wisdom is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial, unfeigned; free from doubts, wavering and insecurity. Godly wisdom is from God. (James 3:15-17.)
The Bible says in 1Corinthians 1:24 that Jesus is the Wisdom of God.
Therefore, if Jesus is godly Wisdom, we need the attributes of godly wisdom and the principles of God's Word as the Cornerstone of every aspect of our lives and our nation. Think about the overall success rate and wellness of the culture, the government, our homes, thevchurch and social culturals, the schools, the industries of art and music and the fields of science and medicine when godly wisdom was and is present versus when it is not. Good when He is, and terrible when He's not.
We are left to disaster and ruin when the Cornerstone isn't present. The Bible warns us not to lean to our own understanding (human wisdom unfiltered and untamed). Instead, in all our ways acknowledge God (utilizing godly wisdom), and He will guide our pathway. Although, I recommend Jesus, I know that everyone will not receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but we can still apply the principles of the Bible. They still work.
Everyone should have goals and a standard for living. That's godly wisdom. Without a sense of direction and godly wisdom to anchor you, you will be as one chasing the wind where nothing is ever good enough or enough. On the inside, you always feel empty, unsatisfied, sad frustrated and/or tired. That's human success. "ALL IS VANITY," exclaimed Solomon the preacher, in Ecclesiastes.
God wants to fill our lives with blessings and abundance, but He, also, wants us to know when we have reached our enough of contentment, and it takes God and godly wisdom to decipher that. Have your ever said, "THAT'S ENOUGH!"π€£. We all have. But that's the kind of "that's enough" you have to have when pursuing prosperity and good success or nothing will be enough or satisfactory.
Jesus, as the Cornerstone, stabilizes our "that's enough" and what we accept as enough. What are you accepting as your enough? What are you pursuing in regards to life and Christ?
Jesus symbolizes an anchor that empowers us to manage our movements, momentum and mission when pursuing life, Chist, good success and prosperity. The reason why the stewards of 5 and 2 were able to increase their profit was because they were anchored in godly wisdom not human wisdom alone. The steward of 1 just had a lack of wisdom. Period.
The steward of 1 talent wouldn't even utilize human wisdom. In other words, he had no sense of urgency or motivation to go out and make a profit of any kind. That's why the master of the house looked at him and called him lazy (idle with no vision, no initiative or motivation).
God finds no need to utilize those who are lazy, who sit around and do nothing of meaning. As the song says, Get up, get out and do something (positive). Jesus the Cornerstone will help you, when you try and are willing to try to make something of your life and the lives of others around you.
