I Choose Jesus/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

"I look to the hills from where my Help comes from. My help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth." David knew that God was always present and consistent in all things. As a Christian, life consist of fully trusting in, relying on and leaning on Jesus.

For some who don't believe that Jesus is God... Well, He is. He is God the Son (John 1:1; 14:10, 11 &23, 16:13-16; Philippians 2:6; Colossians 1:15... Amplified Version). Whether we believe this divine truth to be true or not does not omit that this is true about Jesus. He IS God; God the Son, second in the divinity of the triune being of the Godhead.

Us arguing these historical and divine truths is likened to us debating over whether one of the American president's were ever in office.πŸ˜‚πŸ€£. Do you see how trivial such debates are? Our lack of knowledge or unbelief does not change the concrete truth of their reign in office or place in literature.

Cognitively speaking it is us who must accept the truth. This calls for the renewing of our minds with what is true and the removing of any bias, ignorance or unbelief we may have toward believing and accepting the truth. Without belief in what is truth, you are only left with blatant ignorance and unbelief.

SO. As a Christian, I choose Jesus and fully put my faith in Him above all. Is this always easy? No...🀣, but it is essentially possible. I CHOOSE everyday to walk in my personal faith in Jesus.

I choose His way, His will and His Word above my own or anyone else's in that matter. David knew that his life depending on the help, preservation and presence of God in his everyday life. Whether it was leading God's people, overseeing the flock, in battle or just being still in the presence of God.

Your own life will depend on not only decisions, but making the right decisions. Making good decisions results in the right actions which result in the right results. So. What is your resolve? What decisions do you have to make today? Are you leaning on your own knowledge and feelings to make these decisions or are you, like David, looking to Jesus to help you make the right decisions?

Sometimes we can over contemplate making decisions and second guess our decisions which results in procrastination, getting distracted with other things or making the wrong decisions. As they say... Listen to your gut or that still small voice on the inside telling you... "This is the way." That's the Holy Spirit guiding you to make the right decisions which lead to peace, resolve and the best results.

I choose Jesus communicates being guided out of challenges into victory over them. I choose Jesus communicates God has complete jurisdiction over my life, thoughts, emotions, actions and how I commit to communicating my thoughts, words emotions and actions.

I choose Jesus communicates I choose the way that LEADS to life in this life and the life to come. I choose Jesus communicates God's will is my top priority and that my life and decisions are centered around God's will. I choose Jesus communicates God knows better and much more than I do, and that following Him will lead me to the best outcome.

I choose Jesus is a declaration of my will but, also, my mind and my heart. I choose Jesus communicates I transcend what the world believes is right and choose what God says is right... which is always different.πŸ˜‚πŸ€£. Well. It is.

I choose Jesus is a plea for His cause and His calling on my life to have full occupancy over my life. I choose Jesus is a lifelong commitment to Jesus. It steers me back on the right pathway when I find myself veering in a way that is leading me not only away from Jesus but everything Jesus is.

Let this truth stand... I CHOOSE JESUS.
