Overcoming Along the Way/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

I cannot articulate or communicate enough that life is a journey. Every moment will not be good. Moreover, every moment will not be bad either.

Challenges just like triumphs are a part of the journey. They are a part of life. Challenges refine our fortitude and the dynamics and dimensions of who we are as an individual journeying through a vast world full of various experiences and a diverse people.

To think that every moment within your day will be great or without some kind of adversity is unrealistic. We live in a fallen world where we aren't just encountering our own journey but the journey of others full of good moments and bad moments, victories and defeats, overcoming and failures, their will to push forward or experiencing opposition, and sometimes their journey impacts our own voluntarily or involuntarily.

So when this happens, what are you going to do about it? What steps will you take to overcome whatever or whoever you encounter? Will you give up our will you press forward?

No. Everything you go through isn't your fault. Sometimes you are dealing with the choices of others, but that is no excuse to just give up.

In dealing with all this, it's how you respond that matters. You have a choice. Do I respond, or do I react?

Your response is thoughtful and analytical. It's thinking about the big picture and responding accordingly. It's thinking before you do or speak something which can bear reward or consequences.

Your reaction to any given situation is impulsive and selfish. It's about revenge. It's seeing only what was done to you or seeing things from the side of feeling offended and how you can get back at someone for offending you. This only bears consequences in the end. Do and say it now and pay later.πŸ‘€

Do you really think that leaders are flawless? Heck no!πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ The people you look up to for whatever reason are human beings with strengths and weaknesses just like you. They have a life story to tell, also. They have challenges and triumphs, just like you.

Pressure, criticism and battles don't just start when you hear about it. People who overcome pressure, criticism and the many battles of growing, building and envisioning something worthwhile have been fighting the good fight of faith for a very long time. No one wants to follow someone who gives in to adversity and quits. People follow those who never give up and overcome to leave a legacy and pattern for others to follow.
