Life In Our 40's... A Healthy Fitness Regimen/Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Ladies... Now that I am in my 40's, I am rethinking and retooling how I see and do fitness. I was thinking to myself... You never want to be the woman that says, " Child, I remember when I use to be able to do all that.🀣 Or, I use to go hard like that, but now I can't do all that stuff anymore."🀦‍♀️πŸ‘€

Stop right there.🚫🀚🏾 You want to be the woman that can still have great results. The key is finding a low impact and high burn exercise regimen that produces great results as you progress in age. You want an exercise routine that you can still do now and well into your 60's and beyond.

Yes you can! The key is giving your body what it needs to maintain its pliability, density, strength, flexibility and elasticity as you progress in age, while maintaining a strength training and cardio regimen that can navigate through the stages of life with you.

Your eating habits are important. Don't cut out all the sugar in your diet, if you don't need to.πŸ™ƒ Just cut back. If you cut out sugar or carbs altogether you are bound to over indulge when you do eat them. Moderation in your health is key ladies.

Low impact exercises can still produce great results. Find a cardio and strength training routine that is moderate. Don't go too light or too rigorous. Too light of a routine will cost you more time and lower results. Too rigorous of a routine can damage your joints and muscles.

The key to long term fitness is thinking long term about your fitness. Make adjustments along the way. When you are exercising standing up... You want to build your core and maintain a healthy core.

Your core enables most of your exercises. So, keep it strong, and take care of it. Stretch your joints and muscles to relieve any and all stiffness, pain or pressure you have. This will, also, help you to have a productive workout.

Water hydrates the muscles and joints. So stay hydrated. Avoid drinking your water too fast. It can cause your stomach to cramp. Drink water in between reps. You got this ladies!
