Leaders lead by vision. No vision... no meaningful, long-lasting progression towards a destination and a series of fulfilled goals. No vision... no sense of direction.
Where are you going? Not where have you been. A vision is progressive. Progression communicates productivity. Productivity communicates a vision.
Without a vision the people wonder. Without a vision the people wander. Without a vision the people are lost. Woah. Let that sink in a minute.👀🙃
"Where are you taking us," the people ask. If a leader cannot answer this pivotal question... the people become wearied, worried and frustrated with the lack of vision that leaders are suppose to have. Leadership is much more than a position and a title or you referring to yourself as a leader. Leadership is much more about you leading people to something bigger than yourself, themselves, and where they have been.
Vision is continuous. Okay. Where will you lead? Let me ask you another question. How will you lead?
If you do not know how to lead people once you get them to their destination... you have failed. 50% of the job accomplished is still failure. Jesus mission was to fulfill the Father's vision of restoring a lost humanity. If Jesus came to earth yet failed to atone for the sins of the world... He would have failed as a leader and failed the mission.
Vision is part:
.Leadership.
.Mission.
.Communication.
.Commitment.
.Action.
.Fulfilment.
"I'm going to do it has to shift to... I did it." Think. Believe. Speak. Act. Achieve. Again.
.THINK.
.BELIEVE.
.SPEAK.
.ACT.
.ACHIEVE.
I did it! I'm going to do it won't cut it as a leader. I did it is the ultimate sign of great leadership.
But how? Vision. Without a vision the leader will aim at whatever. Without vision the leader will fail. TRUTH.
I'm going to get it done has to shift to... I got it done.
When heads delegate assignments... They follow up with, "Did you get it done? Show me evidence that you got it done." Leaders where is your proof you got the job done?
Your word is only 50%. Proof (action and achievement) is the other 50%. 50% is failed success.
You cannot succeed only giving 50%. Go above and beyond. Leave no room for doubt.
