Being Responsible Is Growing Up

I am a grown up? What does that mean exactly?

I am responsible for my life? Yes, you are. However, what does it mean to be responsible for your life?

Is being responsible selfish? No... but sometimes it may be taken that way by others who don't understand your why or if they approach your reasons for being responsible selfishly.

Being responsible is actually being mature. It takes maturity to be courageous enough to do what needs to be done or to say what needs to be said even when others don't understand or don't want to understand.

It is not wrong to do what is best for you. It is wrong for others to expect you to understand their reasons why but not respect your reasons why.🙃👀 Unfortunately that happens in a lot of circumstances in peoples lives dealing with others.

Give to others the understanding you yourself would like. However, even if people are not on board with what you know you must do... do it anyways, and let your results speak for themselves.

People, places and things will press you and press you, if you allow them to. Their happy but you are frustrated, sad, exhausted or stressed out! Take up for your life. Some people won't get it until you take drastic measures.

After communicating to people what you need to do and they still continue pressing you, don't be afraid to take drastic measures. Some people don't get it and won't get it until you do so. Never feel bad for being a healthier version of yourself, even when that requires saying no sometimes.

God is teaching to me adjust my life to His will and guidance and not my circumstances. If you never do things differently... You will always get a version of what you have always gotten. If you want your life to change and your results to change... You must first take responsibility for your life above others feelings and opinions.
