Where is God?/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy

Where is God? He is everywhere at once. His omnipresence is unsearchable. It is eternal. He has no beginning or end." Yet He is the beginning and end of all things.πŸ™ƒ

God is in our hearts. Lo, I will be with you always, even to the ends of the earth. I will never leave you nor forsake you.

God is in the Word. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God (John 1:1). He is the Living Word incarnate (Colossians 1:15).

God is in our minds (1Corinthians 2:16). But we have the mind of Christ. Be renewed in the intellect and attitude of your mind (Ephesians 4:23). Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed in the spirit of your mind (Romans 12:2).

God is in our bodies. Present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service (Romans 12:1). Don't you know that your body is not your own. It is the temple of Christ (1Corinthians 6:15). Don't you know that your body is the sanctuary, dwelling place of Holy Spirit that dwells within you (1Corinthians 6:19).

God is in the universe. Where can I run from the presence of God? If I go to heaven, You are there. If I go to the grave, you are there. If I travel the skies or the seas, you are there, too (Psalms 139:7-9).

God is in our prayers. When you pray, pray like this, Our Father Who is in heaven. As Peter was in prayer, the Lord appeared to Him in a vision (Acts 10). As the disciples prayed, suddenly appeared tongues of fire and they were all filled with and empowered by the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4).

Is God in the past? Some would argue yes, but God instructs us not to even consider the past as an option. Behold, I am doing a new thing (Isaiah 43:17-18).

We then can conclude that although God was present then, He is not there now. He is ahead of us trying to catch us up to where He is. God told the children of Israel, "I go before you to prepare the Way Deuteronomy 31:8; Isaiah 45:2)."

God is always in the present preparing the future. Although we can think on events in our lives where God was at one time, He is no longer there. I will give you an example of what I am communicating. After feeding the multitudes, Jesus sent them away, but later they came looking for Him. They came looking in the place where they last saw Him, but Jesus was no longer there. Jesus had crossed over to the others side (John 6:1-15, 22-25).

Are you searching for God in the past, only to find He is no longer there? God is not in your past. God is the present, heading toward your future. Hallelujah!πŸŽ‰

So, then looking back to linger in the past is a sin in God's eyes.πŸ‘€ God said, "Don't even consider the past (don't bring it up or dwell on it; it's not an option). Looking back only slows down your progression.

Looking back can hinder your blessings. Looking back can impact your vision and motivation to see what God has prepared for your future. Looking back can cause unnecessary grief and tension.

What happened to Lots wife when she looked back? What did the angels say to Lot and his family? Go, and don't look back.πŸ‘€

Looking back can cause us to lose sight of the bigger picture and forfeit our inheritance. Looking back can cause intimidation or conceit to root and fester. I urge you to LOOK AHEAD, AND DON'T LOOK BACK!

Where is God? God is ahead of you. Yet he is near.
