Kingdom Leadership 2024- The Mindset of A Kingdom Leader/ Rashea@LLO2 Academy- Leadership Edition

Mindset

The mind is the realm of the upper and inner most hemisphere of the head where knowledge is received, conceived, processed and filtered before passing on to the brain. The mind is the attitude, spirit or life force of knowledge, understanding, wisdom and discretion.

Set is to be anchored, established, unmoved, positioned or stabilized.

So, mindset is the stability and positioning of a person's attitude after knowledge, understanding, wisdom and/or discretion has been received, conceived, processed and filtered. A mindset is how you think repetitively. It is your mental incline or proclivity. Whether your pattern of thought is right or wrong, it is how you perceive life to be.

Great leaders invest in their minds. Great leaders are intentional about making sure their minds are in the right head space. Great leaders assess their own thoughts. The Bible says in 2Corinthians 10:3-6, "We must casts down wicked imagination and bring into subjection every thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of God." So what is this specific passage of Scripture communicating?

Take time to assess your thoughts and imagination. Any thought, concept or picture that is wrong or goes against your moral conscience or right principles has to be checked, assessed and replaced with good thoughts, concepts or pictures. Any thought, concept or picture that deems greater than God's all knowing knowledge, understanding and wisdom has to be checked, assessed and brought into subjection and alignment with the all knowing knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God.

But why? Why do we have to check, assess and bring our thoughts into the knowledge, understanding and wisdom of God? We must do so, because there are human laws, and then there are divine laws that govern all things. If we go against the laws of God that govern all things, there will be consequences. However, when we align to the laws of God that govern all things, there will be bountiful rewards.

God's knowledge is always right and always good. God's knowledge will always lead to the right answers and solutions. God's knowledge is always better and the best.

How do I know this to be right? Well, King Solomon, the wisest man to ever live aside from Jesus, realized that his human wisdom aside from God's wisdom was futile. He wrote an entire book on the vanity of human wisdom and life's toil. I am referring to the book of Ecclesiastics.πŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ’―

God gave Solomon wisdom, His very own wisdom. The Book of Proverbs speaks of godly wisdom. However, somewhere along the way, Solomon strayed from godly wisdom and relied on this own abilities and capacity in an attempt to do leadership, kingship and life apart from God's all knowing knowledge. His conclusion? "All is vanity."πŸ‘€

We can never get so haughty that we think we are above God or even those who may know more than us. There will always be another leader or person who knows more than you. Great leaders realize they need other great leaders, and they surround themselves with great and like-minded leaders who also realize they don't have all the answers.

The Bible says, "We all learn in part." God meant it to be that way. Leaders relying on other leaders. People relying on other people.

It's a lesson in humilty that communicates, "I don't know everything. So why act as if I do?" In my humble observation, knowledge coupled with the right attitude and processed experiences is  the best teacher.

Great leaders seek God to some degree. Even other religions discuss God's Word in their doctrinal beliefs to some degree. They may Word it differently, but God is at the root of it all.

For instance, Karma says, "What goes around comes around." The Bible says, "Whatsoever you sow you will reap." American Christian's often say, "You reap what you sow." God is at the root of it all whether we realize it or not.

Great leaders seek out good knowledge, concepts and wisdom that will enable them to have greater impact in their personal lives and in leadership. They search out the right knowledge in order to apply the right information that will equate to the right results. Leaders are born, but great leaders are trained to be great leaders.
