Samantha... Growing Up Christian/ Answering Others With Temperance (Session 11... Teen Addition)-Rashea@LLO2 Academy
Practice self-control, Samantha.
The Bible says, "Don't talk a lot, and when you do, let what you say be gracious."
Lord, sometimes that is easier said then done.
Respond, Samantha. Don't react to your peers, social media or the negativity around you.
Jupiter stars. My earth needs balance.ππ€£
Think responsively. Speak with grace.
Be honest, but be gracious. Don't say things that can lead to regret.
So how did Jesus deal with words? How did He deal with critics?
The Bible said, "Jesus stood His ground and spoke the truth. Other times, Jesus did not say anything at all. In other instances, He avoided conflict and the crowds. Then, there were times Jesus withdrew from everyone to go pray and speak with God the Father. He asked Him for guidance, Wisdom and strength."
Hmm... sounds logical.π€£π
.Be honest.
.Practice being quiet.
.Avoid unnecessary crowds and conflict.
.Have quiet time with God.
Be responsive not impulsive, Samantha. I'm so glad that Jesus left us a biblical road map around conflict. The world we live in now always wants a reaction.
Jesus, give me guidance and self-control in my responses to my peers and social media's havoc. Amen.
